I had been here many years back. But couldn't write a review then. Better late than never! Recently visited this restaurant for a quick lunch. The first dish on the menu that I HAD to order even before looking at the menu was their "Fodinacha Waran"; the taste of which I could still recall after many years. For the appetizers, I ordered Surmai Tawa fry. I am guessing that the fried fish had a cornflour coating as it was crispy, but the fish meat was soft and cooked well. Masala was evenly coated. They serve the fish with onion tomato salad. For the main course- In the vegetarian section, we ordered for Bharleli Bhendi. The bhendi was fried and the bhaaji had dried coconut flakes and crushed peanuts in it. Amazing flavour. Goes so well with chapati. In the non vegetarian section, we had the Malavani Chicken Curry. Not the best Chicken Curry preparation. But the taste was good. It wasn't too oily or too spicy, which I liked and it really compliments their Tandalachi Bhakri. Then we ordered for Steam rice and Fodanicha Waran. No meal ends without a great Daal and Rice. In all, a happy end to the meal. We didn't have much capacity left for trying out a dessert. Maybe next time!

A quality restaurant for Maharastrian food. Has an authentic and nostalgic taste. Some of my favourites are:- 1. Chicken raasa 2. Bhakari 3. Prawns khicadi 4. Sitafal rabadi. Ambience: well maintained and clean. Service: polite and helpful. Cost: Not so heavy on the pocket.

So when it had Zomato gold it still didn't seem expensive. Now it is!! Chicken sukha had 5 pieces for 320 bucks!! I know you are fine dining but haddi wala 5 pieces? Thats it! Kothimbirwadi and Aluwadi are still phenomenal! I can keep going there just to have it! Service is weird. I say this because something's come lightning fast! But chicken sukha and the bill takes forever. I asked for the bill 5 times and then went to the counter and paid it. Cool thing is I paid 5% service charge also! So ya! Food is great but they fine you for dining there.

Do not go for soups, its just the curry and not qualify as soup. Fish preparation was good. Chicken main course dishes are must recommend. Overall good. Yet to try biryanis btw. Service is bit slow..
