Pros good ambience Excellent service Good food Very good for couples fo a r candlelight dinner Their in house offers like when we had gone they had order any desert for RS 100 plus taxes etc . The only con I could find was it is a little costly compared to the servings they offer and in general little costly

This place is HEAVEN for all you food lovers. With their cuisine covering Indonesian, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Thai, this place offers the best. This place has a very cool and fun vibe to it, with its picturesque interiors along with some light music. Since the cuisine was new to us, the staff was so courteous and answered all our questions satisfactorily. The even suggested us new dishes to try(Lotus stem Tango). Everything we ordered, dumplings, malak thai red curry, chocolate brownie, chocolate tart was above par. Though mango cheesecake was bit of a downer. The entire experience was simply amazing.

Perhaps this is one of the most confusing place I’ve ever been to. We were wondering around the streets of Baner looking for a place to get some glasses of well crafted beers. We stumbled upon Malaka, it had a fair number of locally brewed beers on the tap. We started off with Vanilla Porter by Kimaya, it had a very fine notes of vanilla with a aftertaste of caramel and coffee, enjoyed throughly. Next up was Diablo by White Owl, we waited nearly 25-30mins and got to know that their beer dispenser was not functioning as because their CO2 supply line was crippled. Unwilling we were forced to switch to a commercially produce beer. We ordered shrimp summer rolls and Vietnamese Bao. Shrimp rolls were excellent which came along with choices of side sauce and dips, enjoyed it. Bao had a great stuffing but the bread/bao itself was little tough and felt like a flat bread not bao. Disappointingly we asked for our cheque for which we had to wait for around 15mins, finally when we got our cheque we were surprised to see that the price they charged for a shrimp roll was more than double which they had mentioned on their bar menu. Again we waited nearly 15-20mins to get it corrected. Just to mention we were only table in the whole bar. PS: Bar has a very good ambience but something needs to be done to avoid mosquitos.

Sweetly letting down. As I always begin with appreciating the drinks & to write a review starting with food can only happen, when it really startles my taste buds with surprise, but am afraid, this is a big let down over the other outlets. As usual, let's begin with DRINKS then, Ordered an independence brewed 'Belgian Wit' & on staff recommendation 'Mint Julep'. The cocktail was not at all upto the mark, the proposition of liquor 'Bourbon -Jim Beam' in this case was overpowered by a lot of crushed ice. Just takes the flavours away. Since it was with Zomato gold, which gives us one more shot to make worst a bit better. I asked them to just bring the cocktail with whole ice cubes rather than the first combination & yes it does improve. At least you will feel the bourbon sliding in. FOOD: I again ordered the 'kebab on sugarcane skewers', which was an ultimate let down here. Though I hope they share the same recipe but there is a huge difference in taste. AMBIENCE & SERVICE : The place is nicely located. Take a seating close to the open space to get a good breeze glazing you. Service is prompt. Staff is very courteous, however, I hope they can be trained better to recommend good drinks. Nice experience overall, definitely one of the go-to places if you are the surroundings.
