The service, food and ambience of this place are all great. We ordered fish fingers, puneri nachos and chicken strips. Both the chicken strips and fish fingers were excellent. Mildly spiced and brimming w the flavour of fish and chicken. The puneri nachos were not for me, I couldn't really stand the smell of Kadi patta but for most people it should be an interesting experimentative flavour This place was hardly crowded even on a Friday evening, despite good food and ambience, which we found a bit sad. Poona Canteen is worth going to just for the fish fingers alone!

Awesome place and yummy food had the conventional chinese triple schezewan rice ... but the presentation was awesome !!! Very appetising!!! Will surely come back to try the biryani...

Small setup ; indoors n outdoors , live music playing by a duo ; good vocals ; can sit outside n still c n hear it : menu is with twists :- had a drink ,guava pepper with a flash of whisky - leaves a real spicy aftertaste and had the bhakerwadi mish mash - basically bhakarwadi with all the ingredients of a sev puri ; experimental stuff .

The food is average and I say this after having tasted various dishes multiple times in hope of something better. The serving time is way more than expected. So it's not a good stop of you are not willing to sit for a bit longer duration, in expectation of food. Don't be surprised if your hunger buds are rolling big time by the time till the time some average food arrives.

Average ambience Average food and service The place has really true puneri dishes right from bhakar wadi to waran bhaat. A bit high on pocket with less quantity. Paneer chilli was disappointing. Chicken wings are good. One time visit !!
