Avoid!

Rated 1.0 by MSM M

Never, Never  opt Sat-Sun  unlimited Thali at this hotel. Ambiance was excellent. Staff was good. Very clean restaurant!  Unlimited thali charge is around 300Rs. They advertise 16 items, but, you end up eating mainly rice. No idli, dosa, appam etc part of this thali, Even, they served sweet once. When asked second time, they served one of us only. It was shocking to us when he said sweet is over. He did not feel bad about it  as he was not able to serve the committed unlimited thali. Poor thinking of owner! This thali cannot be compared to Shreyas hotel Thali or Mathura thali etc  in any manner.

positive 3.5 : the place is near by mathura hotel on j m road. they serve very few dishes on availability but puttu and payasam served with food is awesome. appam and stew chana curry goes well. didn like the stew much though. tangy rassam vati. I ordered payassam a rice khir twice. they have a very good menu listed from Indian food and some light international foods as well. i hope they improve on the staff to do justice to the menu. very nice food though.

We accidentally bumped into this restaurant while roaming around in JM road. Ordered Appam mini combo and puttu kadala. The taste of Black chana curry and chutney reminded me of home. This place serves decent food. The ambience and cleanliness is also nice. Will return to this place in the weekend for Sadhya and Unni appam.

The Restaurant is located on Jm Road near Mathura hotel and hard to find as it is inside of building with very low visibility, we came across this by an organic search on Zomato. The name does not give any clue of what the Restaurant will be as it does not justify any cuisine. Ahaar can be any kind of food. Although it was a weekend and specially sunday afternoon still the entire restaurant was empty when we entered it. It has been well interiored with hanging objects and wall pictures , the sitting is also quite comfortable with wooden furniture. Observing the menu it was kind of keralan style restaurant with kerala thali, appam and salads and juices. Coming to food we ordered there kerala thali which contain 16 ingredients like chutney, sauce, curry, rice and all. All the items were of good quality but lacked that essence. We also ordered appam with moong curry and it was well cooked with circular shaped but again it lacked that taste. Food has quality but less in taste. Service was good they continuosly asked if we want anything or howz the food. I have tasted keralan food earlier also they should do something to enhance their taste otherwise they will fall short of customers in the hustle of Jm Road where people have atleast 15-20 options to choose from Restaurants. Inshort good food, good quantity, not pricey but lacked the main thing Taste.

Good Enough

We have been here thrice and each time we had a great time here. Quiet place on the busy JM road, warm hospitality. The mother son duo behind this homely startup personally supervise and at times even cook in the kitchen. Love their health food options, the salads and smoothies. So if some day you are not in a mood to have a full meal, you can safely opt for these and you will leave as one happy, satisfied soul. They serve pretty good Kerala meals, but run out of them early, especially on weekends. The dosas and appams too are good. Overall a great place and a good change from the regular stuff available everywhere.
