Used to be a good restaurant but have now lost quality. Food is similar to street food for 3x price. Service was 5 star though.

The Mainland China Clay Pot Festival. What is so great about this festival? Its an amalgamation of the old and the new. Mainland China has started this festival with the idea to introduce us to the traditional way of cooking and serving piping hot, fresh food in Clay pots. The lost art of cooking traditional food dates back to more than 5000 years. The menu has been designed to showcase the authenticity of the food served, not forgetting the new format of presentation. The servings are generous and more than enough for 2 people. On the cost side, I did feel that it is a bit expensive. Not wasting more time I will get to the main part the drinks and the food. Cocktails:- * Mango Jalapeno Martini * Not So old fashioned * Gimlet Starters * Mutton Chops * Chicken Thai dumplings * Smoked Duck Rolls Mains * Shredded Duck with Mango in Clay pot * Sanpei Chicken * Chicken Clay Pot Desserts * Chocolate rolls with vanilla icecream * Caramel Custard We also did try a few items from the regular menu and it was an absolute delight. As the weather demands hot, comfort food this is precisely what you need, so head over to Mainland China and experience the traditional culture in a new form.

Mainland China has been a favourite since childhood since it re defined fine dining with its chain of restaurants across the country and changed our perception on Asian food. They keep coming up with unique concepts to ensure that the menu is interesting and we have reasons to go back. Recently we tried the Clay Pot Festival during the month of July that was curated appropriately considering the monsoons with dishes full of comfort. Thai style chicken dumplings : Spicy dumplings with kaffir lime with a creamy stuffing and a covering so thing that it’s an absolute delight! Chicken taipei : A Taiwanese prepared started is a perfect appetiser to start with especially with a drink to pair up the spice up with Sanpei chicken with Asian greens clay pot rice : Comforting in its flavours, subtle with its spice this Dish was exceptionally on point with its flavours and could definitely be a part of the regular menu Dessert : The good old Hot chocolate rolls with vanilla ice creams is definitely one of our favourites and is a part of our childhood memories of this restaurant. Consistency in its making and always on point Along with good food, a place becomes even more fine with its hospitality and Mainland China has always managed to have a stuff that is polite and aware of the needs of the customers. This place makes you happy with not just its food but also its ambiance & hospitality
