Blah!

This outlet is in the Westend mall. Having heard of the name and it's outlets since 1952, I went ahead to try the food. I ordered the chole bhature combo which came with fries, dessert and beverage. Also see the attached picture. I have to tell you the chole had a lot of oil floating on top, moreover you'll feel heavy really quick since it is the oil that satisfied your hunger. The bhature were okayish. They also served onions which tasted stale a little and not at all the vinegar liked onion as per the color. The gulab jamun did not seem fresh at all and tasted bad. The French fries were served in a cup with no salt or ketchup. As for beverage, we went for cold drink and not buttermilk. So the Pepsi was fine and was not a fountain coke. The only good part about the food.

The place was very good and the service of the staff was very fast. The eating area was very clean and the fresh and that is the main plus point of the restaurant one notices. The food is reasonable and very tasty. Hope to visit this place soon.

The food was ok. But the staff was rude. After waiting for around 15mins for one plate pav bhaji, the staff was not courteous enough to answer the time politely.

Although the variety of items is huge and some might even be very tasty, but the ALOO PARATHA I ordered was not fully baked. It was large and heavy but I had to sadly leave a part of it. Dahi raita served along with it was also very salty so I found it hard to finish. I would recommend ordering fully fried items instead of baked ones. MINI CHICKEN THALI was okay and fulfilling including tawa roti, plain rice, daal and gravy chicken.
