INTRODUCTION Ignite is in house restaurant in the vicinity of Courtyard Marriott. This restaurant is only having bar and grill items on their menu. Mostly people come here to drink have some great appetizers and grove on the dance floor have an amazing evening. I was here for an ongoing fest of sizzlers. They showcased sizzlers with a regional twist. They had some most loved food items from each region. AMBIENCE As this place is in the vicinity of Marriott you can’t have a bad ambience. They have cabanas all over the place where you can have some private time with loved ones. They have a nice big bar counter. In the centre a big table for bigger groups to enjoy their time. The tables had slots filled with ice to keep your beers cheered. A dance floor to grove on the beats. They had an open kitchen hence we could see our food being prepared. When it comes to ambience its top notch this could be perfect place for date nights to. BEVERAGES Lavender lemonade Its was a good drink as the lavender flavour was there in each and every sip. They had used lavender extract and topped it with some lemon juice and soda. They used some simple syrup to make it sweet. Nice refreshing lavender flavour along with sour and sour lemonade taste was a good combination. APPETIZERS Chicken wings Some good wings fried to perfection and coated with classic bbq sauce. The wings were totally winner for me. They were properly coated with the sauce. The sauce was just amazing as it should be. The sweet and tangy flavour first and then the spice hits you. The sauce was finger linking good. SIZZLERS Puneri Sizzler This sizzler had delicacy which are famous In Pune. They had included food like the misal pav, dadpe pohe, thalipeeth, vada pav and this was served along with masala bhet. Misal was form in of sprouts coated with the misal masala. They thalipeeth were small in size. The masala bhaat was well cooked but was low on spice. Kolhapuri Sizzler A sizzling platter combination of spicy mutton kolhapuri, chicken sukka, masala bhat, mirchi wada, and some small sized bhakri. The mutton was cooked well and was tender. Mutton was coated well with the kolhapuri masala. The chicken was bit dry and was hard to cut. The spice of chicken was also low. Candolim Sizzler. Home made fresh Recheado paste Marinated prawns, some rawa fished fish, goan croquettes served with tomato rice. The prawns where well cooked and perfectly marinated. There was a nice tangy taste to the tomato rice which complimented the prawns well. The rawa fish was a but soft could be crisper. Dakshin Sizzler A mix of some flavourful dishes from the south. This sizzler had chettinad chicken, mushrooms, fish fry, cabbage poriyal and coconut rice. The chettinad chicken had a hind of curry leaves flavour to it. The same masala was in the mushrooms. The coconut rice was amazing had that perfect hint of sweetness to it. Bombay Sizzler Some of Bombay’s delicacy at one plate. This sizzler had kheema ghotala, pav bhaji, masala pav, potato chips and chicken pulav. Kheema ghotala was medium spice with garam masala bit it was very dry to me. The pavbhaji was a thick coz they mashed pavbhaji veggies along with pav bhaji masala with the potatoes and served. VERDICT They have sizzler fest going on till 20 th august 2018. A nice try to bring special food items of the region onto one plate. Coming to the hospitality and service its top notch. No doubt on the service they provided us. This place is just purely to enjoy dance and drink.
