Gulmohar Family Restaurant Reviews and Ratings - Wadgaon Sheri, Pune

I ordered twice from this restaurant, Veg combos (Noodles and Fried Rice). Quantity wise, the amount of rice/noodles is not sufficient for one person. The manchurian gravy was pretty good and tasty. The food was served hot, within 45 mins of order. Plus, additional benefit of 35% online OFF, makes it a good bargain.
Been here for lunch. Food was not that great and the service is too slow. We ordered some starters, roti and biryani. Taste was average and these guys should focus on quality and not that worth for money.

Pretty good delivery experience! This review is based on the couple of times I have ordered from this place and the experience has been really good with no real complaints at all. My recommendations would be to try the following: Daal tadka - the usual one with a good amount of tadka. Murgh Mussallam - really good with decent quantity, a half portion is enough for two people and comes with four medium sized chicken pieces with bones. Gulmohar special Paneer - Comes actually in two different gravies - one with a tinge of Orange and other a bit greenish. I quite liked the preparation and it went well with the Tandoori rotis. Price wise the place ranks above average in terms of the quantity it offers. Below is the summary : Taste - 3.5/5 VFM - 4.5/5 In the near future will try and visit them and write a blog by taking into account the other factors like Ambience and Service, however for the time being this is definitely my goto place whenever I am looking for food delivery :)

Always wanted to visit this place. We had ordered take-away from this restaurant quite a few times and had never been disappointed. The food quality was amazingly consistent. Price wise - definitely easy on your pocket. Finally an impromptu lunch plan landed me @ Gulmohar restro yesterday. This time however I was hardly impressed by the food - What a shame! We ordered chicken 65 and chicken lasooni tikka for starters. Chiken 65 was far from authentic, a little too sour. Preparation was all over the place - more like a saucy schezwan with desi tadka. Having tried their chicken lasooni tikka twice before, I could vouch for this dish any day. I was most let down by this dish. Tikka sizes were inconsistent, few pieces chewy and it was lacking the usual punchy flavour. Mains were no different. Ordered chicken hyderabadi which was again a let down, so were the naans - especially the garlic butter naan. If you must visit this place, do try the butter chicken or chicken tikka masala. If you are looking for quick take-away dinner, their chicken biriyani is decent.
They have their bar on the rooftoop and its not that bad. Its overall an average place. Food is awesome especially paneer dishes. Service is not good at all as the kitchen is on the ground floor and the waiter goes down for every order and then you have to wait till someone attends you.
