My experience with Girija is average. I ordered for zunka plate, shev bhaji, and kharwas( milk pudding ). Zunka plate is amazing. But I am very disappointed with shev bhaji for the second time. Instead of telling them, they gave the same pathetic one. For Kharwas andaharashtrian food you can visit this place. They do have Punjabi food,but taste is very average.

An amazing place for maharashtrian food. You can satiate your craving for authentic spicy maharashtrian food here. The food is always served fresh, piping hot and quick. Shall definitely come back to try more of their menu.

Pavbhaji was worst ever. I have asked for spicy one..And they gave 3rd class garlic added pavbhaji.. M done with this restaurant..Will never go again

The ratings for this place don't do justice to the quality of food it serves! Date of visit: 20th May 2018 What we ordered: Girija Special Zunka Bhakri Thali: 2 Bhakris & Zunka Served with Thecha, Chatni, small amt. of salad, matka dahi and kurdai. Worth a try. The thecha is awesome! Fruit Salad with Ice cream: Basic fruit salad with Ice cream, well served and good to taste. Aluwadi: Well cooked Aluwadi, specially requested for the thecha along with it since I loved it! The serves was happy to give it to me, even though they normally don't serve it. Veg. Manchurian (Dry): Again well cooked and tasty, quantity though was a bit low against my expectations. Paneer Handi & Chapati: This sabji was suggested by the server and we loved this dish! Medium thick Slightly more spicier than usual gravy, with good quantity of Paneer pieces in it, along with Ghadichi chapati (which are huge btw) Jeera Rice: Ordered to mop up the remaining sabji, std. fair well cooked. Service also was quite good, despite it being a Sunday and lots of tables being occupied. Prices also quite VFM! The only issue is they don't accept Card payments!!! That's why the -1 in my rating!
