Avoid!

I’m an ardent fan of the Taj. But this place is a serious disappointment. It’s not just an improvement that’s required but a complete re-invention. There’s perpetually any difference between a decent baker & this place. Service, that’s gone down by far many levels too. The tea & coffee too is far below any standards. For a company that ushers tea & coffee plantations, this is a bad joke. Slowly but gradually I see a decline. Taj for me, will however always be my preferred choice, but for just this it averages my considerations.
Good Enough

Decent place Decent cake Just a casual take away place. Not many sit here and eat . Tho they serve good cake , nothing innovative but simple and yet very nice.

For anyone who loves cakes, my first suggestion would always be Caramel. The quaint small corner right at the beginning of the hotel. The executive chef, Chef Sachin is brilliant. He gives you sweetgasms like none other. I’m combining most of what I’ve ordered in this one review. Also, my love for getting clicked is pretty evident in most of my pics. What else can I say except, guilty *sheepish grin*
Loved it!

The go to place for cakes on any occasion in my family. Their cakes are perfectly balanced in every aspect. Must try the choc truffle & the fruit cakes.

Tried their Red valvet pastry, Mango pastry, Blueberry Pastry and Chocolate truffle pastry. Cocolate truffle was nice and full of chocolate Red Valvet was okay nothing great. Mango and Blueberry were very average. Hope they raise their standards to match the "Taj" name.
