There is a saying that " Sunday is Brunch Day", so we decided to visit Curry N Spice to try out some delicious brunch. The ambiance is classy with minimal decor. The service was on point and everything was well managed. The best part is the live music in the background, gives you the perfect Sunday Brunch vibes. Lets check out what they have for us: DRINKS(4/5): The drinks we had were Virgin Mojito and Watermelon Juice. The Virgin Mojito was prepared perfectly but the Watermelon Juice lacked the punch of watermelon. LIVE COUNTERS: They have live counters of Falafel, Chaat and Jalebis. So if you like how they are prepared then dont miss out on these counters. APPETIZERS(4.5/5): There are a lot of options in the appetizers section. Each and every appetizer were prepared perfectly and really made our lips smack.  VEG: Veg Lotus, Cottage Cheese Malaysian, Corn Cheese Balls , Paneer Hilltop. NON-VEG: Murg Hazarvi, Fish Fingers, Chicken Latmakai. MAIN COURSE(4.5/5): Moving on to the main course:  VEG: Paneer Lababdar, Veg Diwani Handi, Exotic Veg in Green Thai, Three Pepper Noodles, Veg Dum Biryani, Steamed Rice, Dal Tadka. NON-VEG: Mutton Roganjosh, Murg Rara, Fish in Teriyaki Sauce, Chicken Pot Rice, Murgh Dum Biryani. DESSERTS(5/5): The favorite part for everyone, "DESSERTS". The assorted pastries are really amazing, loved each and every pastry. They too have a small chocolate fountain machine so if you dont mind going over on the sweetness, surely have a go. Other options on Desserts: Gulab Jamun, Jalebis, Brownies. Must try*: Falafel, Veg Lotus, Paneer Hilltop, Chicken Latmakai, Paneer Lababdar, Murgh Dum Biryani, Banana Pastry, Walnut Pastry. Food and music is a deadly combination and we all love it, dont we? Finding a good place for a buffet on a weekend could sometimes be a tideous task isnt it? Plus if u want to enjoy live music, that makes the task even more tougher.. Not anymore. Curry and Spice, Hotel Yogi Executive comes for the rescue. Situated on the ground floor of the Hotel Yogi Executive bang opposite the Mafco Market, Curry and Spice provides you with the deadly combo of good food and good live music. The hotel has a valet parking, so not worry about your car. When you enter the hotel, the restaurant staff guides you to the dining area. The ambience is great, with live music in one corner and buffet and live counters in the other with the tables lined up in the middle. They also have sheesha smoking area outside just in case you wanna smoke one. There is a live chaat counter, dessert counter, live falafel and live jalebi counters for the save. But what was the eye catching feature for me was that humongous aquarium with all the fancy fishes inside. Just couldnt get my eyes off it while dining. The starters as per preferance vegetarian or non vegetarian are gracefully served at the table itself. The waiters were very jolly, helpful and guided us well through the names of the dishes. . Live music was the USP or shall i say the cherry on the cake. Two guy orchestra twas who knew exactly what they were playing. The singer was pretty good and gave me on more reason to like his singing, he played all my favorite songs. People were enjoying the food and grooving to the singing of the singer. So kudos to him for being exceptional. . Meanwhile, We relished : 🍹MOCKTAILS/REFRESHERS - ▪️Watermelon Cooler - Just another basic watermelon drink. Gets a good 4/5 ▪️Vigin Mojito - This was spectacular. The copious amounts of mint leaves added to the total flavour. Gets a good 5/5 🍲SOUPS - ❇️VEGETARIAN ▪️Cream of Mushroom - Was pretty creamy just the only thing that the mushrooms pieces were little small. Could have been alot better had the pieces been bigger. Gets 3.5/5 🔴NON VEGETARIAN ▪️Chicken Manchow Soup - Basic Manchow soup. Was just perfect. Gets a good 4.5/5 🥔APPETIZERS - ❇️VEGETARIAN ▪️Veg Lotus - Just similar to an open spring roll pastry. This was splendid. Loved it. Gets 5/5 ▪️Cottage Cheese Malaysian - This was tangy and sweet too. Could have been better. Just decent. Gets 3/5 ▪️Paneer Hilltop - Paneer pieces tossed in green marinade. This was spectacular. Gets 5/5 ▪️Falafel - Basic falafel. Boy o boy.. This was so good with the dips alongside. Gets 4/5 ▪️Chaat - ▪️Khimchi Salad - 🔴NON VEGETARIAN ▪️Chicken Chilly - Slightly higher on the salty side, but the chicken despite being tossed in the gravy was crispy. Gets 4/5 ▪️Fish Fingers - Basic Fish finger cutlets. Gets 3.5/5 ▪️Chicken Latmakai - ▪️Murg Hazarvi - Just a doppelganger of murgh malai tikka tossed in copious amounts of cream an cheese. Was so good. Possibly the best starter of the day. Gets 5/5. In case you dont get this in your buffet day, do make sure to order separately. Highly recommended. 🍽MAINS ❇️VEGETARIAN ▪️Subz Dewani Handi - All the assorted veggies tossed well in green masala. This was one good try. Gets a good 4/5. ▪️Paneer Lababdar - Was slightly towars the sweeter side. Just okayish. Ges 3/5 ▪️Dal Tadka - Perfect! The spicy tadka added to the overall flavour. Gets 4/5 ▪️Boiled Rice ▪️Veg Dum Biryani - The aroma of the spices cooked in dum could be easily recognised. Was pretty good. Gets 4/5 ▪️Thai Green Curry - This was sheer masterpiece. One of the best thai curries i have had in the town. Easily a 5/5. Must have recommendation. ▪️Three Pepper Noodles - Basic hakka noodles cooked with three peppers (bell peppers) - Red, Yellow and Green capsicum. Gets 4/5 🔴NON VEGETARIAN ▪️Mutton Rogan Josh - Succulent pieces of mutton cooked in robusted flavoured spice gravy. Definitely gets 5/5. Must have recommendation. ▪️Chicken Rahra - Boy o boy what a rahra this was..Simply spectacular. The flavours of charcoal roasted chicken, simmered for hours in a decadently rich sauce.. The term Rara means dry. This is a fairly dry curry with chunks of chicken, ground meat and crumbled paneer (optional), all enveloped in a rich, thick sauce. Gets an easy 5/5. Must have recommendation. ▪️Chicken Dum Biryani - The aroma of the spices cooked in dum could be easily recognised. Was pretty good. Gets 4/5 ▪️Naans - ▪️Chicken Pot Rice - Must have recomendation. Gets a good 4/5 ▪️Fish in Teriyaki Sauce - Slightly towards the salty side. Just okayish. Gets 3/5 🍮DESSERTS - ▪️Piping Hot Jalebi ▪️Gulab Jamun ▪️Assorted Pastries ▪️Carrot Cake ▪️Walnut Date Cake PS: Try all the desserts. #EnoughSaid. So in case you're wondering where to spend a good weekend afternoon having a good buffet with live music, Curry & Spice is just the perfect place.

Had my Sunday brunch at Curry N Spice. My advice to you when there's unlimited food involved: Be the first one to enter and the last one to leave. And definitely believe in the elasticity of your tummy. This place has a beautiful ambience and is spacious with great lighting. The live band in the background was awesome and added on to our overall experience. The huge fish tank deserves a special mention. The chat corner was my favorite corner. However, the Starters that arrived right at the table were the show stealers! Loved the variety- both veg and meat. The variety of food for the price and quality is a steal. Enjoy your meal! Finding a good buffet place to have your lunch can be a difficult task. But curry and spice is surely going to solve your problem. This place is serving some really good buffet which is literally hard to ignore. The place is having an expertise in serving continental dishes in their lavish spread of buffet. And wait a minute if you are going to think that this place can be boring so just watch out. This place is having unplugged live music to keep the place lively and entertaining. The overall experience of having a buffet here is good.

Curry N Spice located in Sanpada . In hotel Yogi Executive on the ground floor . Vallet available so no stress of parking . Visited the place on a Sunday was jammed and superb . Live music with a brunch all you need on aLazy Sunday . To end it up with a sheesha which was also good . The starters were awesome . Live counters like chaat , falafel , jalebi and not to miss the chocolate fountain . Live music by 2 guys . Superb . Awesome afternoon .
