A very cute little tea room, in the heart of Bandra. I had some Saffron Cardamom Chai and a Mushroom pastry. If one has a cold, sipping chai here is amazing.

Went to The XVII Tea Room during lunch hours at around 2pm. Well this is a small cafe located on Pali Hill Road. The menu is small & selective with wide varieties of tea & coffees and less options for eating stuff. As it was peak lunch hour, & I was very hungry, I ordered Mediterranean sandwich as not much choices were available...it tasted ok, not as I expected it to be. To accompany the sandwich we ordered #Spearmint Hot Chocolate (very mild flavor of mint i could feel) #Hazelnut Cod Coffee Overall its a nice place to hangout with friends in the evening, but only if you plan to go for coffee's & Tea's. Valet parking not available...so it becomes tough to park the car!

A small cafe located on Pali Hill Bandra They serve a vast and different types of coffee and teas but limited food items. I decided to visit this place during the lunch hours so I had ordered for a Mediterranean sandwich which did not stand out upto my expectations we also ordered for hazelnut cold coffee which actually tasted like a normal cold coffee without having the essence of hazelnut in it also a spearmint hot choclate.
Great!

Visited this place with my friends to chill. Compact Menu, nice ambience, good desserts, responsive waiters, amazing selection of teas, delicious food. The place is really pocket friendly considering the quantity and quality.

I visited The XVII Tea Room & my overall experience was okayish. Firstly I would like to tell that the staff was polite and welcoming. However something about the ambience didn't settle with me. It felt deserted, dull & boring of a place to have coffee in. The taste was also on the average side and needs improvement. The location of this joint is prime & is not too far away from the iconic Carter Road. I ordered Spearmint Hot Chocolate. The taste of Spearmint was only in the initial few sips & quickly faded into oblivion. I wished the taste of Spearmint wasn't too subtle or it could have been a really amazing drink to have that day. Also ordered Half portion of Mediterranean sandwich it tasted decent too. There was nothing so special about the taste or the dish as per say. The + part of this joint was the economical pricing of the dishes & drinks in the menu even after being located in a busy area in Bandra. I maybe a little hesitant to visit here the next time.
