When you’ve lived in bandra all along, you see places come and go, barely surviving a few years, this place somehow cracked it in the first go, good food, great ambience, love the fake sunset just adds so so much more to the place, good alcohol, I only wish they had planned slightly better for the restrooms to withstand the situation when it gets really crowded on the weekends. None the less a must visit for a chilled Sunday vibe as well.

After a terribly badly handled reservation mishap at Runway Project (sister restaurant at Phoenix High Street) where they blamed the Zomato booking system (wrongly) I decided to give the Bandra outlet a try. This time our greeting was friendly and we felt welcomed at this stylish space. Sadly the table we were led to was just odd. Firstly it was laid for 4 despite us being a group of 6. The bench seating could just about accommodate us at a squeeze but the table wasn’t wide enough. And the seats were too far from the table. Not a great start. When we asked to be seated at a more suitable table we were told they were all reserved. I pushed back indicating that we too had reserved and I wasn’t happy. At this point we were given a lovely round table with the right amount of space. Our waiters couldn’t have been nicer. Friendly, attentive and helpful they’re a great asset to the restaurant. Starters were pretty mixed. Chicken croquettes were delicious - nicely favoured and well fried, leaving no grease behind. Chicken wings were grim, and had clearly been re-heated. They were flabby and not very pleasant. Pizzas were great, as one would hope. The chicken coriander pesto version showed that Indian flavours can work beautifully on an Italian classic. American hot remained a crowd pleaser. And the pasta with lamb meatballs was thoroughly enjoyed. Based on the strength of the pizzas this place could score higher but the bad seating offered initially and the genuinely bad chicken wings means a 3 is all I can give this time. I’ll probably head back for a pizza at some point - hopefully they can iron out any issues.

Nothing much to say. This place hasn’t cut it for me although I am a huge fan of Pizza Express. Been for dinner, breakfast and ordered in once. Nothing extraordinary.
