Visited this place for lunch on a Sunday. The ambience is nice and gives a hip-hop Punjabi feel. They have their staff performing live on some Punjabi music and gives a very energetic mood. The staff is attentive and the service is good. Coming to the food, on sundays they have a complimentary cocktail/mocktail/beer with the buffet to start with. - 5 veg/non-veg starters served on the table. The starters were really good and flavourful. The prawns koliwada, paneer tikka and the potatoes were awesome. - 1 veg/non-veg soup - 3 veg/non-veg Salads. - The pudina, pineapple and the amchur chutneys were finger licking good. - Live counters for chaats, stuffed parathas, dosas and biryani. The chaats are worth a mention. Veg/Non-veg main course - The sarson da saag, butter chicken, maa ki daal and the Punjabi kadhi deserve an applause. Dessert counter has gulab jambuns, phirni, rabdi, live jalebi, masala milk, lassi, kulfi etc. This section needs a little attention as the desserts were not upto the mark. Overall, the place is nice to enjoy an authentic Punjabi meal with your loved ones.

You can feel the essence of Punjab from the ambience. They have a stage where in small small intervals.. 2 bhangra dancer and 2 drummers come and do bhangra and attract the crowd to come on the dance floor and shake a leg. The music they play here is non stop Punjabi. You enjoy one or two tracks but then it becomes little chaotic. They live counters and Buffet's only (I didn't see or was offered any menu ). The food is ok. Vegetarian buffet costed us 980 after taxes and after corporate discount. But honestly food was not worth the money and nor was the ambience and the music. You can skip this place if you are not a Punjabi music lover.

Taste of Punjab stands true to its name by serving authetic punjabi flavored food in addition to the great Punjabi Ambience. Just grabbed its delicious food in a office party that I organized there and all were really happy by the choice of this restaurant. The first thing you will notice is the authentic punjabi ambience that they managed to recreate here in Mumbai. The Punjabi music and songs add more flavor to the food. What I found amazing is the punjabi group of ladies singing and playing on the traditional punjabi folk songs Live!!! Superb! They serve buffet only but the variety of dishes are simply amazing. They start to serve you with various kind of starters and CHHASS! Then you are free to roam and pick up whatever dish you want to taste. Chaat and Panipuri, 3 kinds of Paratha, Various types of Salads along with Mutton Shorma and Lemon Shorma... A great appetizer. You'll get mainly 3 kinds of dishes in main courses.. veg and non veg. All are different in taste. Punjabi Kadi and Daal Makhni, Veg pulao or Biryani, Steam Rice, you can choose anything you want. My favorite were the desserts.. Yummm!! Msngo Firni, Rabdi, Gulab Jamun, Jalebi, Doodhi ka Halwa... Wow.. Just immerse the hot gulab jamun in rabdi and then feel, the Magic! Fabulous. Overall Kudos to the people who brought punjab in the heart of Bandra!
