The name of the place is a nice wordplay. Somebody had suggested this place, and after looking it up on zomato, we decided to visit. We were looking forward to the Gardenia pastry and the mushroom and pepper petit. Once there, we were informed that the menu is under constant revision and that the petit wasn't availabe. The cake was only available to be pre-ordered. Most of the jams and preserves needed to be pre-ordered as well. The store makes extra units when they have an order for jams and if your'e lucky, you can buy it across the counter . A little disheartened, I decided to give the Ferrero rocher pastry a try. The person at the counter informed me that it had a mousse layer that sat atop a cake layer. When I dug into it, I noticed that it was infact fudgy pastry which absolutely didn't fit the employee's description. Also, it seems to me that for some reason this place chooses to not update their menu on zomato, something I didn't appreciate either. The blueberry cheesecake was nice. I find that some places make their cheesecakes on the sweet side and I was pleasantly surprised that this one wasn't. The lemon and blueberry cake was an innovative combination that I hadn't tried earlier.The decor is pretty but the tables are very close to each other. I hope they get more seating space soon!

Bought a cheese cake from there was stale and disappointing, no wonder the place was empty and the staff was happy to see a customer do not recommend the cheese cake here

Its expensive outlet on a busy street. Compact place and very small joint. I dont find value for money here as hot chocolate ordered was not upto the mark.

Star Anise is a tiny patisserie located on Linking Road, Bandra. The ambiance and the decor are eye-catching. Thumbs up for that. I loved their menu, too. The whole concept of literally serving it is amazing. Coming to food and beverages, among what we ordered the chicken tikka sandwich was outstanding with an amazing blend of flavours. The Ferrero Rocher and Nutella shake was a tad bit below my expectation but it tasted good. The hot chocolate was strictly ok. I'm going to suggest working on the presentation of the beverages. Also, complete value for money and ladies, there is a 20% discount on your bill every Wednesday. Finally, the staff is friendly.

Amazing food and best desserts I've tasted so far of international standards, friendly and sweet staff and a breath of fresh menu. Must visit this place in Bandra. Had their Harissa chicken wrap, honey dijon grilled chicken bagle, star anise shake, St. Antoine dessert and le equateur dessert where the chocolate sauce melts the chocolate ball, a tray to the eyes and mouth
