A really good and affordable place for people who enjoy a good hot south Indian meal. the chutney is consistently good and the sambar is one of the best among the lot of places I have had in the city. Totally worth a visit if you are in the area. The filter coffee though good could be a little better.

Shanti coffee house. Don't order anything of they allow you to just eat/drink the sambar. The sambar is just amazing over there. I always drink 3-4 cups of it when I go there. Variety of food is available at the place. What I ate was masala dosa and idli and special chai. The masala dosa was amazing the sambar always went with it. The idli dipped in the sambar was perfect! (Must have) And also the special chai is actually special!

I was looking for some good and economical restaurant which is difficult to find in this area. I was just having a walk and came across this coffee house. I liked the way they have maintained this small place, it is very clean and hygienic. Food is very reasonably priced. I liked the coffee. Though I did not eat anything but I am sure it would be the best in this area. Would definitely visit again. Its like a hidden gem in this area.

This place is pretty famous with Naigaon crowd and is still known to them as Shanti Cafe. This place is treated as a landmark too. It is situated on Dr. Ambedkar road, a little ahead of Gurudwara. It's a very catchy place and often is crowded with the locals and passers-by. It's a pure veg restaurant which serves good food. Idli, Dosa and Medu vada is a must try. The serve fresh juices too. You should never miss out on their Special Kadak Chai.
