Blah!

The quantity of sabudana khichidi is very very very less! Also, if compared with the price , it's expensive! it's like grabbing 10 teaspoons of khichidi for 65/-

Delicious Authentic Maharasthrian Food @ Panshikar !! Upon my visit to Mumbai, a lot of locals recommended Panshikar Aahar, I was going through the menu, took staff advice on what to have from the different varieties of misal here. Then they suggested me "Farali Misal". it is Popular not just during fasting, but otherwise too. First appeal of Farali Misal was Distinct, what i have had before, it used to be Brownish Gravy, here at Panshikar the misal off white colored Gravy, that is i Guess Coconut is a reason.  Taste of Farali Misal was very light, it was not spicy, no feeling of oil, that may be  "Misal" has mixture of Sabudana, Singdana (peanuts), Sev, Alloo & Coconut in crushed form. I have been told that this can be paired with 2 things - Yogurt & Coconut chutney. I tried with Coconut chutney. The Coconut chutney was really amazing. made of Chilli, Coconut and little bit of Salt. When I mixed this chutney in Misal, it enhanced the taste. Someone suggested me, whenever you go to Mumbai, must Try "Rajgira Puri Bhaji"   So I ordered Rajgira Puri, which was served with Green colored Coconut Chutney and Alloo Bhaji. The Puri  did not have Oil, it was again on lighter side. "Panshikar restaurant" is very popular food joint, as when i asked taxi driver want to go to Panshikar Aahar should i open google map, he said he knows this place. Then i understood it must be very famous as it's quite a distance from CST to Girgaum. This restaurant has two floor, First floor is fully AC, Ground floor is Non-AC.   Total Sitting space is around 70 to 80 people. Ambiance is of Mid range Range restaurant. Panshikar has 4 outlets in mumbai. Overall it was really Good Breakfast, If you want to try a good Vegetarian Maharastrian Food, then this is the right place for you. Taste 4/5 Service 3.5/5 Ambience 3/5 Value for money 3.5/5 Recommend- yes yes Food is tasty and that's what is important. Staff could be customer friendly and that would go long way in positive direction. Best part is their sweets (padhe) waah, a must try.
