Ma'swad Reviews and Ratings - Malad West, Mumbai

Great concept! Decent clean edible food, does feel like ghar ka khana but pretty much monotonous taste wise. Not much character to dishes apart from a few vegetarian ones. Portion sizes are atrocious. Bad non vegetarian! Not a single dish is good. I guess I had put too much faith into a concept like this and over persevered with these guys hoping things would get better. Be careful! I have been ordering food from these people for a while now for lack of other options in the same category of less masaledaar home like food, and it looks like they're bluffing people with their non veg stuff and portions in general. And my dog told me that with empathy despite loving it himself coz he would end up getting most of it. How??!!! It's only bones in their non veg curries and this has happened at least 10 times in the recent past and they don't listen. Plus they have highly attractive names for their non veg dishes and have no clue what they're doing with their preparations. They have afghani, amritsari blah blah blah... Lol... The service guy is sooooo polite and passive aggressive that you cannot really argue with him. He is always right! I Give up, finally! Yet another great idea gone wrong! Bye bye Ma swad!

Nothing fancy about the food as it's a home cooked food by housewives....but that's their USP....I wanted something which I could eat almost every day without affecting my stomach and this provided a very good option....another good thing is that their menu changes everyday They only have a takeaway/delivery option...I have tried most of the chicken items and liked all of them except chicken keema....my personal favorite is Amritsari Murgh....I have never tried their veg items so can't comment on that. Most of the times, they have delivered within 20-25 minutes which is another plus. I just wish they increase the quantity of their servicing.

Ordered a week long lunch menu using their website. Must say the ordering was seamless and the food was delivered by the dabbawala to my office. For Rs 675 a week for a mini meal this service is a steal. The mini meal comes with two rotis, rice, daal, chicken, pickle and a sweet! That's good enough for a full meal for a small eater that I am. The best part is that the company provides employment to housewives and is a social entrepreneurship set up. Brilliant food and awesome initiative.
