Nice ambience, good food but very very bad service. They didn't even give water without we asking for it. For everything we needed we had to wait for at least 5 mins for some1 to look at us so that we can communicate our need.

Avoid!

Ordered some tofu & brocolli gravy to go with hakka noodles. First, the service was at snail's speed. Next, just look at the picture of the tofu served to us. Just by having a bite out of it we become aware that this isn't the type of tofu that we normally consume. It was dry and stretchy and chewy. I and my guy have consumed Tofu at numerous places and it's always smooth and soft. On bringing this difference to the attention of the junior manager (who approached his senior), the senior snooty manager rejected our claims and told his assistant to tell us that this is the way it is. Kailash prabhat comes with a legacy built since 1952 and one is thoroughly unimpressed when faced with this lack of concerns for its patrons. I'll be avoiding this NEWLY OPENED Kailash Parbhat now.. Thanks to the lackadaisical attitude towards the patrons!

This is the only Kailash Parbat in the city that comes close to the original Colaba one. Authentic dishes and presentation is excellent. Service is quick and the food is fresh and has amazing quantity. Food - I had a lot of Chaat like Papdi Chaat, Katori Chaat, Dahi Puri, Sindhi special Chaat, Paani puri and all of them were fabulous with curd. Ask them to make it a bit spicy if you want otherwise it’s perfect. Sindhi Thali - Super Duper filling. It’s like a whole meal for 2. The portions of each quantity is less but there are a lot of delicious things. Sindhi Curry and Rice - you’ve got to order this. Definitely. It’s their specialty and it’s worth it. Order it along side - Aloo Tuk - which is a bite size seared potato with lots and lots of marinated masala which tastes absolutely amazing. In all a definite must visit to have Chaat and the special Sindhi stuff. Would definitely visit again.

We arrived at 10.30pm at kailash parbat n it was raining heavily. The place was stinking (damp smell) we sat on the right hand side on the sofa n again their split ac was leaking, the sofa was wet, staff was not bothered. We ordered their famous pani puri which was HORRIBLE the puris were stale n the water didnt taste as it should taste. We then ordered dahi wada which was decent. Later we ordered chole pattice and bread chole which was bland,no taste at all in the chole. We then ordered paneer pakoda which was nice. The staff cant even speak properly, they have just pick up anyone to come n work at the restaurant. Damages to the pocket- 770 (approx US $ 11.15 ) Overall experience- I HAVE GROWN UP EATING AT THE COLABA KAILASH PARBAT SINCE THE PAST 35 YEARS N HAVE LOVED GOING THERE EVERY SINGLE TIME. YOU GUYS HERE AT THE KHAR OUTLET HAVE RUINED YOUR LEGACY N REPUTATION . I would rate this place 2 on 5
