The fish here are really good, I love eating seafood here, pomfret is fresh and super duper tasty. The fried rice and Hakka noodles are damn good here, love them

Janata is our to go place for cheap alcohol and great food. The staff is very friendly. The place can get a bit crowded on weekends, but the wait is worthwhile. The chicken tikka is a must have :)

A clear no-frills, no-nonsense bar with your usual cheap poison, and really good bar snacks to munch along. MUST HAVE their Chicken Crispy, and Prawns Koliwada.  The Paneer Chili Dry is a tad too spicy but nonetheless, a routine classic which cannot really go wrong. Enjoy a couple of your favorite beers or quarts of your favorite hard liquor, with some chakli-schezwan sauce, peanuts, and the very recommendable chana mix. The service is rather quick. The only drawback is if you are sitting in the inner AC section and wish to head out for a smoke, you are requested to clear the bill first. Else, go in batches for a puff! Go figure!

Janata is not Janata if there’s no waiting and no crowd. Had been here one Afternoon and it’s so different to see the place with prompt service considering it was empty. Their green chatni, schezwan sauce with chakli is mandatory. The paneer chilly was Yumm with super soft paneer. The Prawns Koliwada was nice and crispy. The veg Hakka noodles could have been much better in terms of taste. Service was quick and friendly staff. Was craving for a magai pan but the pan wala outside the place didn’t serve the same. Different experience to eat and chill at this busy place when it’s not noisy at all.
