After a long long time I visited a restaurant that I really enjoyed. I'll be honest, after my experience at the short lived Thalassa in Mumbai I had absolutely NO HOPE from House of Llyod but thankfully I was proven wrong. They have a beautiful outdoor bar and live music section with a really nice singer who also plays the keyboard and thats what actually adds to the whole charm of this place. The food we ate was also very nice although there were quite a few things I still wanted to try. We tasted the baked crabs (nicely done), prawn balchao (the owner or chefs wife's recipe which again was really tasty) and finished off with a creme caramel which was the absolute highlight of the meal. However, if I had to point out 2 things, the poi wasn't as fresh and a bit hard and also if one has to be seated in the AC section the whole charm of the place is lost. Otherwise all in all a great evening and I will definitely be back soon

Sunday brunch done absolutely right Mumbai is definitely blessed with Goa in the form of House Of Lloyd. Right from the vibrant interiors which consists of Goan paintings on the walls, a huge bar section, fantastic seatings, lovely breeze flowing for the outside seating, perfect karaoke going, guest doing salsa. what more can give the feeling of Goa, right at Juhu.
Kokum Prawn starter - Juicy succulent prawns delicately flavoured with kokum and sundried tomatoes and red spice. accompanied with poi the paw, prawns slightly spicy tangy & creamy with coconut yet balanced with the tartness of Kokum. The prawns were just cooked perfect
Fish Ambotik- Fish curry in spicy tangy juicy goan style curry with Sea Bass fish, moist and juicy fish accompanied with steam rice, then i got to know there is kerala or home style ukda rice also available. but this dish was highlight, the presentation was superb and the spoon to lift the gravy was made of coconut cover, quiet innovative.
Red wine Sangria - Expected to be chilled had to add ice, but nevertheless, the food compensated for this mistake.
Creme Caramel - aMouth watering dish, felt the egg but loved the taste, not too sweet but just perfect.
he service was really prompt and the server had a good knowledge of the menu, they were corteous and all smiling faces ready to help and kept us attended all the time. Not sitting on the head, but just around at the right time.
Will definitely visit Lloyd to try more dishes and their Thalis
Pretty place but the staff was very confused.. the food was below average and definitely not worth the price! There was a rat in their restaurant and the staff didn’t seem to bother!! Highly disappointed!!
