Was in bandra so thought of trying “healthy treats”. Very regular looking and tasting cakes. One of the muffin was burnt from the bottom( how disappointing is that, no customer value) Place is not easy to locate. Owner’s attitude is cold. Not worth wasting calories and time, there are lot of better places to try similar healthy stuff, who server with warmer and welcoming attitude towards clients. Only serving healthy food isn’t the key, the approach towards clients matters too.

I'd give Healthy Treats a 4* for the cake I ordered, but the entire experience ordering and getting it delivered via Zomato left a sour taste.  The challenge I see with a place like Healthy Treats is that because of their business model they cannot accurately predict their delivery times. They cannot even come close. Zomato gave a guaranteed delivery time of 3:00pm and the cake arrived at 6:00pm after 4-5 calls to Zomato and Healthy Treats. Harish (assuming he is a co-owner) called and unapologetically said the delivery will be further delayed because their delivery guy is elsewhere. You are not even given an option, it is late because that's who we are you have to deal with it. Unfortunately for me the cake arrived after the birthday party ended. Zomato is helpless because Healthy Treats uses their own delivery. I have ordered from Healthy Treats before and not using Zomato with similar experience. Mind you they do charge INR 250 for delivery from Bandra to Andheri. They really do need to figure out how to grow their business model.  A pity that a place that makes such good cakes is unable to deliver. I would never order for birthdays again from Healthy Treats but sincerely hope that they hire experts who can help them deliver to their customers with predictable timelines. Gordon Ramsay?

My admiration for Healthy Treats started after being ready to throw darts at the owner. I was enraged, fuming, scething, irrate, pick any other adjective after a rival Food Delivery Aggregator had told me to cancel my order for the third time in a row. 3 hours late, no sign of anything I ordered, you'll forgive the outrage.  So did the owner Healthy Treats: Divya. She took time to articulate the model she was operating on: everything freshly baked to order and how the other aggregator was incompatible with her business. It does beg the question why then Healthy treats would continue to be there but fair enough, I acknowledge the dilemma i.e how do you grow your business without them.  Healthy Treats is the original healthy cake and dessert store in Bandra. Low carb, wholewheat, low sugar or ketogenic, Healthy Treats has it. My experience has been with the keto range. Keto Chocolate Brownies - aggressively priced at about 200 per slice but buy the full box and you could feed a small birthday party! I think they slightly undercook the brownies just so they turn up gooey, moreish and so they will last a bit longer if you want them the next day.  Keto Cookies with chocolate chunks - beautiful big thick cookies that turn up piping hot to your doorstep. What better testament to the freshness of the product! I wouldn't be surprised if Healthy Treats bags these direct from the tray. As with all almond flour desserts get the almond milk on the side as they can dry the palette if trying to binge like a dumped girlfriend wading through an ice cream tub. Keto Chocolate Cup Cakes (without egg) - ordered a vegan version of the chocolate cup cakes. Probably the weakest of everything I tried. Egg is one of the best known binding agents to the baking community and is difficult to substitute. The Cupcakes were tasty if not slightly greasy (not offensively so), but too delicate to eat in a sophisticated manner! Crumbs of chocolate cake on that crisp white office shirt, not a good look! Loved the dark chocolate sugar free keto cake. It was freshly baked and nicely done with almonds. A little too pricey but then everything good comes with a price!

Deelish choc-orange and peanut butter-choc vegan cakes. Definitely ordering again. I was even able to give feedback on my order - great customer experience.
