Ordered my food online via Zomato . It took a while at first just for the restaurant to accept the order. Zomato had to call the restaurant to get them to accept the order or the restaurant saw it late on the device provided by Zomato. After 30 mins or so I get a call from the delivery boy saying the restaurant can't deliver. The delivery is asking me to call Zomato and say this. The delivery boy called me twice for the order to get cancelled. Zomato refunded my money. The Management of Five Fat Monks is just plain bad.

Hidden by some of the larger eateries along the Lokhandwala restaurant strip adjacent to Citi Mall is the Five Fat Monks. It’s a small seated restaurant with some incredible pan Asian cuisine. We tried the king Khaprao (egg fried rice beneath a bed of mutton mince cooked in a spicy sauce with bird-eye Thai chilies and a fried egg. This rice was beyond phenomenal. We tried the Sapo sauce chicken, which was satisfactory.

Cancelling my order without even intimating..really not expected.i called the delivery guy he then tells me it's cancelled by them..n time was 8;32 and I get to know at 8:27

Tried the newly opened branch of five fat monks and was very disappointed.. first off the flies in the place! That's a big put off. The food was very average, and will not make me go back. . Only decent thing out of all the dishes was the pepper chicken .. spring rolls were over salted.. didn't have any coke / Pepsi.. slow and uninformed staff..

Newly opened place in lokhandwala with a cute decor Had the kung pao chicken and burnt garlic chicken wok, both were absolutely amazing and yummyy. Would love to visit this place again and try more dishes.
