Cafe Coffee Day Reviews and Ratings - Charni Road, Mumbai

Cosy ambience and a good cup of coffee, sounds perfect. This CCD slightly differs. Though the frappe was ok (not mixed properly), it was the stale cheese and corn sandwich that spoiled the mood. Never trying eatables again, sticking to my safe cappuccino!

CCD- A perfect place to hang out with friends over a cup of coffee. This place will never leave you disappointed. Location- Exactly opposite Girgaum Chowpatty. Ambience (4.5/5)- As you enter the fresh aroma of coffee makes you feel lighter with soft music playing in the background. Decorative interiors with frames of coffee picture can be seen hanging on the walls. In the display near the counter there are different varieties of cookies & coffee for sale. CCD have come up with something new in their menu which is sundae's, new italian pizza & also some quick bites. So we thought of trying out something from new menu. (You Can also avail offers by downloading the CCD app) Cocoa Fudge (4/5)- A rich cocoa fudge topped with vanilla icecream and a layer of cocoa. You will love the taste of some juicy mango sauce over a frothy whipped cream. Red cheery & crunchy choco stick made it look more attractive. Must have in the list..! BiG Crunch Veg Cheese Burger(3.5/5)- A snack which is enough to fight your hunger. This is made up of crispy patty, tomatoes, lettuce, sauces and cheese. It is good to taste. 👌🏻 Cream Custard(3.5/5)- You can get this for only Rs 10/- which is small in size, crispy & sweet to taste. Service- 4/5 Value for money- 3.5/5 Overall- 4/5

Located at Chowpatty, this CCD is opposite Chowpatty Sea Face, near Asian Street Kitchen, where erstwhile Arrow used to stand.  This place is quite big. The interior is same as the other CCDs, minimal and not over the top. The tables are very small, with only one big table. The space is quite open and the tables are spaced out properly. Here too you order on the counter and they serve you on your table. As is with all the CCDs, they too serve some excellent coffees. Cafe Frappe and Dark Frappe are super here. For hot coffees order a Cappuccino or Cafe Latte. Of lately they have started Cocoa Fantasy, which has dark chocolate instead of the sweet one. That is awesome.  Value for money for sure. Have been here quite a few times, and are certainly coming back soon.

I've come to this outlet quite a few times for various meetings. I absolutely love the location and the ambience. It's an all-veg CCD. I dropped in yesterday for a couple of meetings. Until yesterday my impression of this place was quite neutral and so I never reviewed it, but I had the most horrible experience in a CCD yesterday. I took a seat and as usual there was one employee stocking up the store room in the back. I always see only her doing that. Then I ordered a coffee and some food and they didn't have a machine, neither could I pay by card. The girl at the counter just gave me a hand-written bill without an account for taxes, so I had to blindly pay. Then as I got my order I was disappointed at first because my coffee arrived in a small sized plastic cup, but whenever I order the same drink with my American friend whenever I'm here, I get a taller sit-in glass. So much for racism. I ordered some nachos with beans and cheese and as my server set down the tray, she warned me that it was very hot. And yes, the tray was hot, but the food was just taken out of the fridge! It was horrible! As I sat there and started eating, she joined her friends behind the counter and all the three of them stood there and watched me eat. I felt so embarrassed so I looked at them to see if I was doing anything wrong, but they kept starting at me while I ate, and openly commented. I was really surprised at this behaviour cause in general I wouldn't want anyone to stare at me while I ate, much less someone I don't know. I've known CCD to have higher standards than just one employee working hard at the back while the others make fun of someone in the cafe.
