Watz This Friday Reviews and Ratings - Keyatala, Kolkata

Was there for dinner yesterday...i.e 12/08/18 with friends. The staffs were not prompt and it took too much of time for food to arrive. Though I love the food here, this time the quality was below standard. Very very unhappy.
Location: Beside Vivekanda Park. Food : Good Italian dishes are served here . They have lot of options , usually the dishes you won't get elsewhere. Though I found it decent but can improve upon the taste. I have tried their pastas like arabiata , Alfredo, grilled sandwiches, green tea and the dessert called choco quicksand . This dessert tastes good and looks better ! Ambience: The decor is snug . But it's a small place with hardly 4 to 5 tables. Hospitality: There are less staff so sometimes it takes too long to be served. Can improve upon this. Nice place to stop and grab some Italian dishes .

Nice ambience...friendly. quiet. Good food. A little slow on service but that is done okayed by quality. We loved the garlic noodles. Overall nice.
A gem of a restaurant located in the desolate bylane behind Vivekananda Park. I have visited this place multiple number of times in the past so this review is long overdue. Food : Soup - We ordered a Cream of Mushroom and a Corn Chowder. Both were delectable. Cream of Mushroom here is one of the best I've had in the city. Corn Chowder isn't your regular corn clear soup. It is creamy and full of flavour. Starters - We had the popular Horenso Okono which had tiny pieces of cottage cheese and mushroom rolled in spinach leaves in a magical sauce! Main Course - Rissoto ala sun-dried tomato - The dish failed to impress me in terms of flavour. The tomatoes were pretty tangy and the dish was pretty low on salt. Lasagna - the lasagna was appetizing and yum but was pretty filling owing to high quantity of cottage cheese stuffing in between the layers. Pocket Pinch: The meal cost us about Rs. 2000, including a mocktail, which is pretty reasonable. On a different day I've tried their Khou Suey which was impeccable and Potato Rosti which is pretty ordinary and basic. Since it is not located on a busy thoroughfare, you mostly manage getting a place here even on holidays or in the weekends. So parking is not a problem either. Plus the food is hardly ever not scrumptious.
