The Noodle Hub Reviews and Ratings - Kasba, Kolkata
by Rajorshi Chakraborty
Well it is presently the cheapest buffet in kolkata, Price is Rs.299+5%GST= Rs. 315/- (All inclusive). coming to the menu...REMEMBER Cheapest buffet comes with cheap thrills... 1) Sweet corn chicken soup 2) Some veg alu bhaja 3) Chicken pakora soft & in dry sauce 4) Hakka noodles 5) fried rice 6) veg au gratin in curry 7) Chicken in hot sauce 8) Darsaan with ice cream The soup was awesome. The rest were average. Ambience was nice. Coming to the negatives....only 2 waiters running around...when I said I prefer buffet...they didnt even bother to inform me that soup was there (it was not on the buffet table, I had to ask and then they served & that too after 15 min)...no proactive ness except bringing the bill. Ice cream was brought from the kitchen and took a long time in bringing just 1 scoop, that I had started eating darsaan without ice cream. Overall ok type, shall visit again, when pocket doesnt permit much.

This outlet of The Noodle Hub in Jodhpur Park is a 2 minute walk from Dhakuria. It's not much difficult to locate the place. If you choose to have a normal meal from the menu then it is surely gonna cost you a pretty good amount. That has no doubt the best quality food. But if you looking for a budget lunch or dinner then go for the buffet they have. The 8-course buffet just costs only a mere Rs. 299+ 5% GST that adds up to roughly Rs. 315. So it's quite a pocket friendly buffet, probably one of the cheapest in the city. The buffet includes both Non-Veg and Veg options, so it's not a problem if you're a veggie. You can still get your tummy satisfied. Talking more about the buffet, it's no doubt a good one at this price but I felt the quality of the food was somewhat missing but at the same time it's to the point the price you pay. Also this place has a nice decor and an pretty good ambience. They screen matched live on the TV here. So if you're a sports fan you don't get your favourite match misses while having your food. So overall grading all the aspects I would go for a 4 on a scale of 1-5.
The highlight of this restaurant is its ambience. Just like me or any other foodie, you'll too love being here. The food served over here is amazing in terms of quality, quantity and pricing. They serve a variety of lip smacking dishes.

I went here once to try their buffet. It opened later than it was supposed to, keeping us waiting outside in the rain while they set up. The decor is very dim but not bad, though very cramped. The chicken starters was amazing, though the veg one wasn't all that good. The soup was quite nice too. The main course was disappointing. Pulao rice and boiled noodles, a mixed vegetable preparation and chilly chicken. For dessert, they had vanilla ice cream with a traditional delicacy. Granted, the buffet was something around 250. So in terms of that, it was quite filling. But frankly, I would rather spend more and eat somewhere better, if I have to dine out at all.

This is an ok type restaurant....The food served here tastes good but not out of the world...the space is also very small for accomodation...Although the price is pocket friendly but I cannot give moee than 2 out of 5...
