Shawarma Nation Reviews and Ratings - Tollygunge, Kolkata
Location: Located just at the lords crossing. Ambience: A very small eatery accomodating 10 to 15 people approx. with nice decor and ambience. Food: Now coming to food. Shawarma nation mainly provides lebanese food. Chicken Shawarma roll, shawarma salad and nuggets are of special mention. The chicken shawarma roll is a mixture of fresh veggies, chicken and a genorous amount of mayonese which satisfies your hunger and is very much lipsmacking. Overall a happy eating. Thank you. I have been to this place for 3 to 4 times. It's a small shop near the Lords crossing and can be located easily. I absolutely love this place and I would love to try many more items from this place. Food is not only cheap but really tasty. But they have decreased the size a bit, I think. I had chicken shawarma wrap and cheese chicken shawarma wrap. The chicken pieces are soft, spicy and tender. I didn't like cheese chicken shawarma wrap much due to its sweet taste. Lebanese Tawook deserves special mention. I had this twice. They provide with five pieces of chicken with pita bread. And they are so tasty that it cannot be written in words. I love this dish. The only drawback of this place is its a small shop. So you have to wait outside if it is filled. Service is not very prompt. I think they have become careless a little. But anyway, if you want good food at such low price, go for it 👍

My go to place for hummus. Very deep flavour but surprisingly very light texture. You can consume 3 bowls of hummus and not even feel half full. The pita is really good. Rest of the dishes are alright. Giving it 4 stars for the nice people running it and the amazing hummus.
