Good Ambience. Staff behaviour is also okay.. Food quality is very nice.... especially chicken items... Got to know about this restaurant through Zomato...

One of my favourite places when it comes to Bengali cuisine.. Located at several places in Kolkata.. What I liked the most is the quality is to price ratio.. It was perfectly balanced.. One may have issues regarding the avergae ambience in comparison to most of the modern restaurant, but to according to me for a foodie this surely should be a good choice

Kasturi was my first bengali meal in the city of joy.. And true to the name, it brought immemse joy. We had ordered for the super delicious mutton kosha - this shouldn't be missed, it was so tender and cooked to perfection. The prawn quorma had two jumbo prawns which were fresh and soo yummy. Mochar jhol had boneless hilsa in that gravy which sang of mustard in a beautiful way. All this was complemented with luchhi and rice. Kasturi is a really amazing place to order for good Bengali food.

Unorganized service with heedless staff, this is what we got when we entered this eminent Bengali restaurant on 16th July for lunch, a tray with few items was brought in front & asked for order, I ordered but they didn't bother to tell what else they have for lunch, all thanks to Zomato, I ordered without any hesitancy what I wish to relish. All above were camouflaged by their ecstatic & pocket-friendly Bengali cuisines. Bhaat, Chicken Sheel e Bata, Kochu Saak Chingri, Sorse ilish, Vetki paturi & Vapa Vetki..a long list but believe me, each one of them was just bliss for Bengali taste buds. Show stopper was Kochu Chingri (110/-only & wow!!) & the size of the ilish in Sorse worth a special mention. Lastly I ordered Chosir Payesh, that simply helps me recall দিদার হাতের পায়েস.. Overall, an authentic restaurant that will surely not burn a hole in one's pocket but will conclusively makes one feel proud as পেটুক বাঙালী. 😃
