Honey Da Dhaba Reviews and Ratings - Tiljala, Kolkata

Located opposite to Acropolis mall , this place is an amazing choice for north indian food. The food is very yummy and the quantity is "a lot" .. we couldn't complete the food we ordered and had to get it packed. The staff was very kind to parcel it from our table itself.

Last Sunday , I visited Honey da Dhaba with my two friends for lunch. It is in Acropolis mall area and just beside the great eastern kasba. The service and ambience was good. Quantity wise food is enough. What we ordered lasooni kebab, cheese garlic nun, chicken Biryani, and chicken rarra. Before i had ordered from here via zomato. Food quality is overall good. I have tasted their Chinese also. Never disappointed. And hmm, pocket friendly. But they charge only the service tax.

This is a fabulous place to have a meal for yourself or treat your friends on your birthday the ambience of this restaurant is excellent and well maintained. Coming on the food menu this is a multi-cuisine restaurant which includes North Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes varieties of several dishes are available so that you never get bored eating the same dish again and again try a different dish each time you visit here. Serving time a but slow but as per the food preparation it gets minimised!

I cannot keep it short, such is the experience. Saturday nights with guests over at our place, we decided to order from HDD. Order was delivered on time and the man from Zomato carrying the food delivered the food with a big smile on his face, wishing us 'Have a good dinner'. And that was just about it. To our dismay, on opening the package that we were served just one butter nan instead of one. On contacting the hotel they, after all their sweet detergent powder apologies, said they would balance the amount on the next delivery, but would not be able to deliver the food. Same with Zomato... On contacting them they put the money back into my Zomato money account , but they were unable to do anything about the food. So convenient for both the hotel and Zomato to say that... And so so embarrassing for us in front of our guests. The food was average. The Dahi kabab was okay. The vegetarian items like Tandoori Aloo butter masala and Mushroom muttar were plain and simple average, to say the least. The Mutton Biryani was the worst I've ever had. Quantity was big, but the rice was dry and loaded with cloves. Scent of rose water in the biryani was too prominent. And the mutton piece seemed to be nothing but a piece of rock. Not at all good. The mutton do pyaaza was good, the gravy was good and the mutton pieces were very soft, quite very much to our liking. The Mutton boti kabab was good too, different to what I've had at many places. I can say that they do need to improve their kitchen and their service by leaps and bounds if they want to stand the test of time. To build a reputation is not easy.... but it takes very little to throw it away. Hope they pay heed.

I ordered for a mutton biryani and got the food delivered within an hour....It was hot and nice(but not up to the mark) ....I asked for a spoon and a plate while ordering....But they didn't provide me the spoon and plate.....However the food,as I said, was not that good.....I didn't expect this service from such a restaurant where the reviews are mostly given 5/5
