A place I have visited since last 15 yrs atleast. Various renovation and expansions and here it stands as one of the landmarks of this area. A paradise for veg lovers. Providing different veg items ( particularly different varieties of Indian street food under the same roof). This time we visited for breakfast and ordered: 1. Chhole bhature (3.5/5): Bhature sizes reduced, chhole qty decreased, achar missing. Yet, I love the preparation. 2. Luchi chholar dal (3.5/5): Luchi sizes were very small. Dal should have been thicker and improvement in taste is required. 3. Petha(4/5): Soft and juicy. Sizes could be increased. The sweet flavour needs to be decreased. 4. Gulab jamun (4.5/5): Good size. Again, tasted very sweet so that needs to be controlled. P.s. Oily items specially the fried bhature and luchi. That really needs to be checked. Also, the serving speed is often quite slow for some particular items.
One of the quality outlets in Kolkata with authentic veg platters. We ordered Chinese thali, Baby corn cutlet, Pav bhaji and Masala Dosa. It's good any sort of family outing if your mood is to avoid any non-veg food.

Situated in the opposite of EXIDE, nearest metro Rabindra Sadan.
Went this place several times.
After watching movie in NANDAN, went there for snacks this time. This place is always a good option for pocket friendly, vegetarian food.
Had cheese pizza, chhole bhature, hazelnut and berry ice cream.
Never found any flaws in their food before. But this time the pizza was burnt from downside, and in name of cheese pizza they are serving a bland pizza bread topped with a pinch amount of cheese only.. No flavour, no taste at all.
Chhole bhature was good as usual, they mentioned "pure ghee" in menu. Bhaturas are fried in pure ghee.
They have a 'ice cream counter' (vadilal) beside the sitting area.
Also there is a 'candy counter' beside the ice cream counter.

It's definitely a place to get good food with nice ambiance and helping staff. I ordered chole bhature, paper dosa, dhokla, kaju barfi, badam barfi, special gulab jamun, Chand milk cake, ghee barfi and kalakand. The pocket pinch was 350 altogether and it was more than enough to fill 2 people. Chole bhature was nice, dosa was crispy as well but dhokla was too sweet and had no other flavors to it. Sweets being made in ghee tasted amazing but I found hair in kaju barfi and it was horrible I was terrified though they tried to replace it but that experience just killed all the good vibes that place gave me.
