Tried the desserts from here a couple of times. Albeit the place looks wonderful, the desserts are often invariable stale and lack in taste. The prices are reasonable however.

This place has an amazing ambience with pretty and minimal decor. They've got some really savoury desserts and other snacks. You must try the chocolate cupcake and the red velvet cupcake. They also specialise in theme cakes and it's an added advantage for vegans like me !

Avoid!

We ordered three desert options a tart, an avalanche and a hazelnut pastry. The hazelnut pastry was more than one day old and it did not at all taste of hazelnut. The location so prime i felt to taste but it was a very bad decision. Will not recomment it to anyone.

Gourmet Bakers is located in Sarat Bose Road, right beside The Dugout. It is a small place but they have a few seating arrangements. We tried out this place as it has a decent rating. We had ordered a customised cake for a bachelorette party. First they showed us a sample. We have them the idea and gave them the description of how we want the cake to be. Happy to say that the cake turned out to be just as pretty and as delicious as we imagined it to be. It was a chocolate truffle cake with a layer of white chocolate whipped cream frosting on top. The only slight problem we faced was when they informed they won't be able to give us the delivery on time. But other than that, our experience was pretty much satisfying.
