Thought this place would be nice but to my disappointment food was equally bad like the place. First we ordered Rupashi Bangla sorbot...Don't know what it was really!!!..Just a green coloured soda that too with a price of Rs 110!!! Then came another disaster,Postor Bora...In the era of Morning 9 to evening 9 shift this item is becoming extinct in our life...So thought why not ordering it to remember our childhood days!!!But alas!!! What came is the mixture of onion vada with little sprinkle of poppy seed... Mutton Dakbangla was alright but extremely spicy ,but dakbangla has to be spicy so no complain....Prawn Malaikary is so so with the medium taste of gravy... Anyway I will not recommend anyone to visit this place again!!!!

A small cozy place on Hindustan Road where the table for two has just enough space for your plates...no space for your order. This aside the food captures the authentic taste of Bengal. The Bhetki Rongpuri fry is a popular must try. The chicken and mutton dishes be it curries or fries are all delicious. And by popular demand there is a choice of kebabs too though these are not real Bengali cuisine. There is a good variety of desserts but available are the common ones mishti doi or roshmalai.
Insane!

Bhojhori manna requires no special introduction in the culinary world. It has always been the Queen of Bengali restaurants. So on a rainy afternoon we set our destination here to try out the lip smacking Bengali food. Firstly we ordered steamed rice ( shada bhaat), moong dal ( flavorsome pulse having a rich texture) , aloo posto ( small and succulent pieces of potato cooked with poppy seeds), mochar chop( banana flower fritters), bhetki macher paturi ( boneless bhetki fish slathered in a generous mustard spread and steamed in a banana leaf till perfection) and kosha mangsho( rich gravy of mutton pieces). The food quality has never disappointed me. It has always been very fresh and tasty although the portion size can be increased a little bit considering the value for money.

We ordered Bhetki Fry, Fish-Prawn Roll, Fish Elish biryani and Prawns Biryani, My experience was very good and I absolutely loved every single thing. First came day’s special Fish-prawn rolls, fish and prawn were minced and marinated and filled in battered roll deep fried served with mustard and salad, well done and nicely cooked and crispy from outside and moist, juicy from the inside. Next came is our Bhetki fry, small and long fish fried in spicy batter served with spicy house sauce which was my favorite of the all courses. This dish is a must try. Our main course was two different types of biryani, Elish and prawns biryani. Both biryani had decent amount of quantity to serve four-five people. Fish biryani was good and aromatic. Two chunks of Elish cooked and broth was used to cook the rice with other condiments, topped with fried onions, what more could you ask for? Likewise prawns biryani was lip-smacking. Two medium size prawns were cooked with the rice which went very well with the rice. The way everything was cooked, I was very impressed. Definitely recommended.
