A small joint on the very heart of chandi chowk serves you one of the best bengali cuisine which will satisfy ones soul. A very small seating arrangement of approximately 20 people. Now coming to the food, the quantity was inexplicably good. ▪Plain rice: Home cooked fine rice served with gondhoraj lemon and green chili. A perfect staple for bengali cuisine. ▪Kochupatar chingri bata: A delicious concoction of kochupata and chingri along with some known to you taste bud indian spices along with lip smacking technique of cookery. This is a must to order dish in this place. ▪Dim curry: An authentic amalgamation of indian spices along with burnt onion, garlic and ginger. Some of my top favourite ingredients. One of the must have among bengali cuisine. ▪Mutton kasha: If you atall love mutton and spicy food, this is something one is supposed to try. Here, you will get a very fine flavour of lemon which will definitely offer more to you stomach and soul. Being a bengali myself it is very difficult to describe the flavoursome cuisine but you should definitely try such to understand the authenticity. Some of the best dishes is here which one must look forward to.
Very near to Chandni Chowk metro, just a few mins walk from E-mall. It us a very small place. They have seating capacity of about 25people on the 1st floor. No such decor to mention about, just an empty room with a few tables and chairs. I orderd Basanti Polau and Mutton kasha. The food was served within 15mins which was commendable. Basanti polau was just not upto the mark. It was just sweetened yellow coloured 'gheebhat'. It was just not Basanti polau. Thr mutton kasha waa quite good. It tasted really good with good amound of spice and flavour. It complemented the so called polau quite well. An average experience altogether. The service was good, did not face any problrm as such. NB - pls improve the quality of the polau
