If money isn't an issue for you then it's a must visit place. Food of this place is not so bad and not so good, but ambiance of this place is just mind blowing. Presentation of the food is equally good. I'll give this place: 8 out of 10. Food: 7 on 10. Ambiance: 9 on 10. I would like to visit this place for my next blog shoot.

The Verandah is basically a restaurant in the premises of The Rambagh Jaipur which is located in the Verandah just outside the Rajput Room and Suvarna Mahal where can enjoy an amazing meal while watching the big luscious gardens of Rambagh Palace where you can Peacocks playing around and one can even see the Moti Dungri from this place. The Verandah is famous for its High Tea, High tea is the British tradition of drinking tea while sitting in high-backed chairs at a table full of plated items such as cold meats, vegetables, pickled fish, potatoes, salads, pies, tarts, homemade bread or crackers with butter, teacakes and fruitcakes. They serve different types of tea such as the famous Kashmiri Kahwa (Kahwah is a traditional green tea preparation consumed in Afghanistan, Pakistan, some regions of Central Asia, and in northern India, especially in Kashmir Valley ) , Egyptian Chamomile (Chamomile is found in many places, but it's roots are deeply planted in Egypt), Darjeeling Tea and the world famous Assam Tea. One can enjoy them with some assorted pastries, Scones and Cold Sandwiches which are usual things which go on with a English high tea. They have a varied menu for this place which includes Indian Thali and some continental cuisine also, but we there mainly for the high tea and to try their amazing assorted pastries. This place gives you a Royal experience and a taste of the British Royalty and is a delight for anyone who is a tea lover.

Recently I visited to this place which is in Rambagh to refresh myself with their high tea. This cafe which is situated in the center of the rambagh is an open cafe which covers a mesmerising view of the garden and as been told by Mr. Om Singh rathore (asst. Restaurant manager) that late maharani gayatri devi use to sit here for hours with a cup of tea looking at this amazing view. They have corridor seating as well as lawn seating both of which are very comfortable and amazing. This place serves lunch, high tea and dinner and to serve you like a king they also have culture programs every evening from 7:45-8:30, classical music till 11pm, they also provide Palmist facilities and lack bangles (payment basis) and Hena (mehndi) services. On coming over the food, as I went for the high tea, I selected 2 types of platter which were - Victorian Splendor platter and Maharaja Sojourn platter. ▶️VICTORIAN'S SPLENDOR PLATTER This Platter consists of mouth melting pastries, puffs, macaroon, avacardo sandwiches, burgerettes, etc. I really liked the avacardo sandwich and macroon ▶️MAHARAJA'S SOJOURN PLATTER This platter consists of delicious Indian sweets, khaman, mini samosas, Kathi roll, sandwich, gol gappe and the vada. I really liked the khaman and mini samosas in this platter. I specially want to mention the different types of tea I had as I went for high tea and the amount of good knowledge about it I received from Mr. Om ji. I had 2 masala chai cups and 1 darjeeling chai and the taste of the fine leaves amazed me. Rambagh offers many varieties of tea and the staff has great knowledge about everything from the peacocks over there to tea to the great history of the palace. Although it's quite expensive to dine in Rambagh but the fine taste, the mesmerising ambience and the quality hospitality covers everything and it's a treat to visit this place. I don't have words to express for the staff. They know how to make you feel like king over there. Special thanks to Mr. Om ji who was there for everything. Do visit this place in evening time to experience the palace lighting and culture events. Would definitely love to visit here again and again

What should I say? Went there just once and loved the food & ambience.Ordered sandwiches and pastries to my heart's content, which turned out to be simply delicious. About ambience, no matter how many times you visit Rambagh, it never fails to awe you with its grandeur.Planning another visit pretty soon. Recommend you all to do the same too.
