The lounge is situated on M.I.Road (Bake hut). It is a okayish place to visit. The decor and ambience had convinced me. Lights, sittings and all are good and comfortable. The food wasn't good! We had pizza, spring rolls, pao bhaji, etc. Everything was very ok. Prices are fairly reasonable as per the quantity of food. Other than that, if you want to organize a small birthday party with your friends then this is place is good.

We are among the regular visitors to Suryamahal and BakeHut. And am a die hard fan of their food, especially anything from the desserts. To be very true, it's not the same feeling to be at The Lounge. Looks like they've tried to make up for the space that was allotted for the BakeHut seating few years back. I find it a weakling among the ventures produced by Suryamahal. Not because you don't get good food but because you expect a lot looking at it as a cafe with a modern dining facility coming from the same lineage. Also, the limited space makes you feel as it was not planned properly. You feel that congestion here. They need another interior plan to be implemented or a little more space to make it breathe! All my rating goes for the efforts that could be seen *sadly*

Let me see... Where do I start. I had heard so much about Suryamahal that I thought of keeping my birthday party here. The lounge just looked like the hip version of Suryamahal just for the youngsters. The decor and ambience had certainly convinced me. It's quite spacious and comfortable. The food, however, was not as good as I expected. So many flaws. The white sauce pasta was bland. The red sauce pasta was just sweet. And the baked veg had absolutely no seasoning. The Chinese food however saved the day. The mushroom noodles, paneer chilli and veg Manchurian saved my party. One of my friends also ordered a regular thali which turned out to be good too! So I guess it's like a 50-50. Cheers for the Indian and Chinese food and a frown on the Italian and Continental cuisine. Talking about service, it was unusually slow and sloppy. We were starving and though they had promised us food in 15 mins it took double the time! Prices are fairly reasonable as per the quantity of food. The beverages however are overpriced. Maybe it was just a bad day. But nevertheless, with good company, everything seems brighter! Verdict : Great hangout place for Indian and Chinese food only.
