Loved it!

Old train turned into a restaurant, insides have that Victoria seating giving royal vibes, outdoor seating is equally beautiful, providing the serenity and beautiful view. I had Capricisso pizza and Spaghetti with minced mutton, both of them were beyond perfection.

Really a luxury, sitting in the open surrounded all round by nature, the peacocks and magnificent view of the palace, it was a overall great experience here. The chicken tikka pizza is awesome and the best pizza in whole of Jaipur. Fish steak was the best fish dish I have ever had in my life here. Popcorn soup was okay not much according to my taste. Cocktails are really good. Overall a great experience and really looking forward to be a regular guest here.

This place was on my bookmarks for so long and I had a lot of expectations from it, well, which stood true! We went there to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and it was a mesmerising experience. The ambience is what makes the place class apart. An old steam engine, giving you a rustic victorian feel, class apart lightening, minimal yet alluring decor, candles set on the table and light music. What more can you ask for? The place is perfect for a romantic date night to a good old family gathering or catching up with your friends under the moonlit sky and feeling no less than a king. The staff is responsive to the core and caters to all your queries very nicely, indeed. We have a very little appetite, so we cannot try much, but whatever we did was great. We ordered a pizza, red wine sangria and whiskey. Their alcohol collection is amazing, and so was their pizza. Cheesy, thin crust, bursting with flavours that you'd crave for more. Sadly, we were full by then and couldn't try out more stuff, but steam has just earned one loyal customer and I'm going to be there every weekend from now on!

Our posh experience at Steam- Taj Rambagh Palace was all things delicious and made us feel satisfied for every penny that we spent. Before we jump on the food, we would like to appreciate the ambience. Although we wanted to sit inside the train set up, we missed onto the reservation timings so we had to sit outside, and honestly it wasn't disappointing either. The ambience is quiet, romantic, beautiful and nicely organised. There were peacocks on the trees and it was a full moon night, plus the weather was in our favour too. So we guess, you can imagine how soothing the whole environment was! What we ordered- 1) Sampler Platter This sample platter is goals for anyone who wishes to try Mediterranean cuisine and hasn’t been able to. Served with falafel, feta cheese, hummus, green & black olives, marinated tomatoes, Lebanese pickle, tzatziki sauce and the warm pita bread tasted heavenly. Everything that you see on the platter, when combined together in the Pita bread, created a fusion of such flavors that left us wanting for more in the end. We have tried Lebanese platter before at different places, but the taste and flavors we found in this platter has got to be the winner. Let’s just say, the next time we feel like eating good Lebanese food, we know just the place to go. Rating- 5/5 2) Spring Rolls This tandoori vegetable spring roll served with sweet chilli sauce had just the right amount of flavours. The rolls very finely cooked and crispy with a balanced amount of stuffing. Not too much, not too less, just perfect. And with the perfect addition on the side (oh god!), that sweet chilli sauce was just the cherry on top (I know, ironical!). With decent quantity, we loved how all the spices came together to enlighten and enrich our taste buds. Rating- 5/5 3) Chilli Paneer It was an oriental style dry cottage cheese served with scallion and chilli. It had an accurate amount of Chinese and Indian spices & flavours to suit our desi taste buds. The cottage cheese being crispy on the outside and soft from inside was aptly cooked. And the added sauces, flavours and marination left us reeling. Rating- 4.5/5 4) Arrabbiata Penne Pasta The pasta looked fresh and tempting at first, but as we had it, we were a little disappointed with the amount of sauce it contained. Because of the minimal sauces, the pasta was left dry and bland which could have been better had there been more sauce. This dish wasn’t entirely disappointing just because of the breads served on the side with fresh cheese and mayonnaise. Every bread had its own personal flavour along with the cheese and mayonnaise served on the sides, we couldn’t have asked for more. Let’s just say, that this side dish kind of stole the thunder of the main dish but kind of saved us from disappointment. It was like a knight in shining armour- a saviour. Rating- 3.5/5 5) Calzone and Verdura Pizza We absolutely loved how both the Pizzas were cooked to perfection. Verdura was an exotic treat with broccoli, zucchini, asparagus and jalapeño as it’s toppings. It was served with a flask of olive oil, to add flavour according to our own tastes. Calzone was supposed to be a folded pizza, but as per the recommendations of our server, we decided to order it as an open pizza, suitable for 6 people to eat. It consisted of olives, sundried tomatoes, capers, jalapeño and corn kernels as it’s topping and we loved how it all blended together. Rating- 4/5

Amazing ambience and food with very helpful and well mannered staff. Mohit served us really well. It was a great experience sitting in train coach and having candle light dinner with fresh aroma.
