Yesterday, I visited here with my family and i orderd Baluchi special Thali 🍽, in this thali having lots of variety of dishes that was very rich in taste, especially the Misti roti and Ras Malai was very unique and yummy in taste... Menu was very different in looking. Good Comfort place for sitting and quick bites with friends... Overall this place is very unique in all the terms... After finishing the visit at the old city, we all were very tired and hungry though. Me especially had thought of devouring Rajasthani lal maas, Bajre ki roti, and some Ker sangri, keeping in mind the picture of a rustic, traditional rajasthani thali, went to The Lalit, Jaipur. We had a surprisingly unexpected traditional Thali at Baluchi. Generally, when we have South Indian food outside, we start with Curd rice. I started from the live kitchen, succulent prawns smeared with a light paste of ginger, garlic and dry red chillis and deep fried with a light batter of chickpea flour, specially made for me. There were different kinds of rice dishes other than curd rice. I tried the tamarind rice, the tang in the rice was optimum. The melt in mouth, supper cotton-like Appams (small griddled breads made out of fermented rice paste and coconut milk) were ultimate to go with Fish curry that was cooked with coconut milk and mild spices(Moilee).For the vegetarians, there were many dishes to go for.The attempt to cook paneer with south Indian spices must have been made to keep the North Indian penchant for their all time great paneer. Even the OMG, super spicy Rassam was made to hook the Rajasthanis love for very spicy dishes. One can go and have these delicious food here at Baluchi on every Saturdays and Sundays !!
