Insane!

It's one of the best places I have had dinner at. The staffs were really good, especially Gaurav! The cheese cake story just melts in your mouth (thanks to the Philadelphia cheese). The soups (chicken wonton and spicy sea food) hits some surreal level. The grilled fish (recommended to us cos we didn't want the bland taste of Thai) can consume you with its aroma alone. The Maki was heavenly. A perfect foodies' paradise.

Atsui with its ambience and a great south east Asian menu is a must visit place for the people who love authentic south East Asian cuisine. The menu is pretty wide with many dishes to choose from. We ordered the following: Tom yum soup: this was good with all the requisite ingredients of Tom yum and I rate it as 4/5. Chicken satay in barbeque sauce: The server advised us to go for this dish and it was a very good recommendation. The barbecue sauce was not sweet but spicy and chicken was deep fried and crispy and served in Satay style. Must have dish for chicken lovers. It was a completely 5/5 dish. Pan fried noodles in garlic sauce: There is choice of sauces with pan fried noodles - black bean, ginger soya and garlic sauce. We opted for pan fried noodles in garlic sauce. These too were yummy and I could have had another plate of these. I rate it as 5/5. Thai curry vegetarian: The Thai curry red is served along with jasmine rice. The curry transported me to Manila where I had once had the same tasting curry. Absolutely authentic and yummy. There was kafir leaves, bamboo and galangal with coconut milk for the great taste. I rate it as 5/5 Quantity served is less hence one needs to order more. The place is heavy on the pocket but still worth every penny. Am visiting this again soon!

Great ambience! Good sushi! And some of the best wine I have had. We can actually see the chefs cooking. Food is authentically Asian and not the indianised version we have become accustomed to. Definitely worth your time and money.

Loved it!

My review for atsui – This restaurant really amazed me with every single dish that I had. I am and will always be a huge fanatic of Asian food. On my trip to jaipur, I was staying at my relatives place and they had recommended me this place. I am so glad to have stepped into this place as it was pretty authentic in terms of flavours, interiors, vibe and ambience. To start with - I was served cucumber fresh mocktail as welcome drink with amuse bouche. I really enjoyed the vegetarian hot n sour soup, it had perfect chinese flavours which made it absolutely delicious. The tangy, hot spicy and sour flavour was on point in the soup, and it was just a great start to the dinner. The assorted sushi platter was massive and each and every piece in the platter was perfect. I loved the watermelon sashimi the most as it tasted fresh, juicy and the slices were the right size. Next crunchy asparagus tempura maki roll was just amazing to roll on. Next they got us various dimsums with amazing stuffing combinations and full of flavors. We had called for spinach and corn, garlic chicken suimai, glazed mushroom kothe and crystal vegetable dumplings. Continuing with the massive a la carte menu choices, I had to get three more items that really stood out to me, which were the onion cakes, stuffed mushroom and prawn tempura (with their special sauce to pour on it, curated by their master chef Abbasi). Moving on to our main course - we shifted to their Teppanyaki tables. Being a vegetarian, it gives an immense pleasure to see your food is cooked right in front of you and I couldn’t ask for more.. as they had two Teppanyaki tables (one for nonveg and one for pure vegetarians like me - Wink). However, The show stealer was our Teppan chef Mir. He totally amazed us with his skills and the flavours and seasonings he put in, were just perfect. It was divine! He made us chicken with teriyaki and black bean sauce (a unique combination of both), smoky tofu and veggies with a flair, add on egg fried rice and noodles were too tasty. Finally, I was happy with the dessert choices but my favourite was definitely their signature dessert The Cheese Cake Story was way better than the regular cheese cake as it had exciting layers and each layer was saying different phrases of a sweet story. Another dessert which again marked its stand with uniqueness was Duo Seasonal Fruity Sushi! Flavorful, Perfectly Designed and Perfect in taste. This restaurant definitely deserves a rating of 5/5 and I will surely recommend this place for must dine at when in jaipur! The staff was hospitable, warm and cheerful. See you again on my next trip!
