Had murgh korma and jujejan biriyani here. The flavours were unique and food was absolutely delicious. Chicken was tender and extremely well cooked. Overall very happy with the food I ate here.

My first encounter with Appam and Chicken stew was in a potluck at my office. It was heavenly. In Hyderabad I heard that Simply South is good so I offered my fav Kerala dish Appam and Chicken stew from there. The packaging was good and the food was still hot at the time it was delivered. They give 2 Appam per plate. The Appam was good, but little bit on the sweeter side. The chicken stew was not what I hoped for. It was more like Thai green curry. Now I not sure whether it should taste like that. As a thick creamy green curry it was good. The food did taste good. But I wanted to revive the taste of the home made Appam and stew.

This has rather been a review that was deferred for a while.  We visited this restaurant in its Gachibowli location (currently closed) a couple of times in 2016 and 2017. It offers a melange of dishes spanning the entire south India complemented by its ethnic interiors. The aesthetic sense in terms of the interiors is just about sufficient and unelaborate.  Hopping on to the culinary wagon, we got to taste gobi kempu bezule in starters and two signature dishes viz., Moilee fish coupled with appam. The latter are from the Kerala cuisine and tasted decent. Another item was Kal dosai, the rice pancake which definitely made us miss the taste-enhancing  missing component  i.e, oil for once.  Though a healthy preparation, it tasted bland and the only saving grace was the sambar accompaniment. In the second visit, we tasted the thali with nothing special to be recommended and averaged out due to its excess oil and salt in some of the curries. Somehow the items were all over-priced. Overall, though the restaurant claims panache through its awards and footfall, the  culinary experience was not something to match with! These views are indeed personal and not backed by public opinion.
