It's cheap and VFM hotel. We had chicken biryani which was quite a generous portion for 2 persons. We also had chilli chicken which was also good as portion was generous. Taste is ok as per the money. But if want to have cheap and good taste food the you can visit it.

Pakwaan is located beside kamat hotel, secreteriat road.I ordered mini chicken biryani, which was average not bad at all.If you are low on budget then this is the best place to visit.Mini biryani costs you 90 bucks so worth the money.Ambience is okayish typical cafe type.

Located near Ravindra Bharathi, have been here 3-4 times after programs nearby. A normal hyderabadi dining affair. Decent food at cheap price. Nothing fancy, not very neat. The biriyani is good in quantity. Have had 'veg haleem' from here. Wasn't that bad, though I prefer the meat varieties any day!

Good Enough

. Review of Veg haleem - Oh yes! One of the few places which serves Veg haleem during Ramzan season! Being a vegetarian this was definitely not on my wishlist but fate had other plans. Ever since I heard this is one of the places which serves Veg haleem and received good reviews I decided to check this place out. My first time to this place and a typical Irani cafe feel to it with special items posted on the wall like Biryani, sweets etc makes me automatically smile :) I quickly decided to try the Veg haleem which starts at 4PM onwards. Went there around 5PM and saw the place which was decently clean and waiters also being responsive. Saw double ka meetha which was limited to 5-6 boxes and were priced at 30Rs each. So decided to try a sweet and the much awaited haleem here. Well mashed yet coarse, loaded with friend onions and cashews definitely did not taste like Upma gone wild. It had generous amounts of ghee and was less flavorful from what I tried in Pista house but at 1/3rd the price and same quantity this definitely is the most VFM haleem I've had this season. Tasted a little spicy as it had green chillies in it. Rest of the veggies were all well mashed up except the tomato. I might actually get this home one day for a filling dinner along with double ka meetha which was definitely better than what Pista house serves for 40 Rs. Overall if I have to sum up this place - VFM Veg haleem, decent place, have option of sitting too which makes it even more better. Could have been mashed a little more to make it a perfectly smooth and delectable dish. Thumbs up!
