I went today to have my lunch. Awful experience. Ordered Dosa. It took almost 50 minutes to deliver. Seems to be a new staff and a restaurant. I will never visit again.

Loved it!

Amazing food. Please don't see healthy and read "not tasty". One of the most awesome panneer I've had. Crispy corn was so good. Everything tastes better organic.

#ByInvite #UnbiasedReview Are You on a Crash diet? Are you craving some exotic Veg dishes such as Fast Food, Pasta or Deserts that actually might not affect your diet! Just Head to 'Jivathi Organic Veg Restaurant' on Road no 36, Jubilee Hills. The main concept of the place is serving you the usual dishes in a much more organic way, for example:- They use rock salt instead of Normal salt, Oil is not being reused which is a good healthy sign, all Fruits and Vegetables come from their own farms which in turn finally helps in cutting down those calories. The Interiors are nothing Extraordinary but yet done simple and detailed to the last bit. They also have a organic store, although most of the stuff found there is what I have seen in the local supermarkets. The only thing different is the Moo-Moo Icecream, I havnt come across any shop selling this. I was keen in trying a few but saved it for the latter. I along with a couple of foodie friends were here for the Launch of their two day "Organic Continental and Asian Food Festival" which comprise over 40 variety of dishes out of which I got to try a couple of them. They are as follows:- Hot Toddy:- A good Refreshing drink, Had the similar one at Tatva. The one served at Jivathi was sweeter compared to the other one. Overall, possibly the best drink to start the day. Ginger Mocktail:- A combination of Ginger Ale syrup with Soda. Nothing extraordinary. Recommend them to cut down on the ginger spice levels as it was quite strong. Red Eye:- A surprise to me when it arrived on the table. A Mocktail made out of Pomegranate as its base and had an after taste of Rose flavour. Something that appealed to me quite well. Cream Of Mushroom Soup:- The Thickness of the soup was good, It had the flavour required. The only thing not so Organic was the Cream drizzled in top. I found the cream to be not fresh as it was not dissolving with the soup and it stayed on top. Asian Noodle Soup:- It was more a like clear soup, I scented a bit of Aromatic Seasoning in it and found the flavour to be artificial. Somehow it did not suit my taste buds. BabyCorn Fritters:- Deep fried baby corn covered in cajun coating. Nothing out of the world. It was plain and dry, possibly a mayo or a schezwan sauce served along, could have been better. There was nothing organic about this dish, I could feel the oil content. Margherita Pizza:- The Presentation needs to Improve as it did not look appealing. The tomato slices were too big and seemed very odd. The base made out of Organic Flour was chewy and Rubbery. Not some thing I would recommend. Vegetable Hakka Noodles:- I hope the noodles were boiled. Chinese cannot be organic, it has to be tossed in oil, add seasoning to it to enhance its taste. If this was truly organic, they nailed it here. Organic or not, loved the flavour. The noodles were soft and had good strong flavour of pepper. Gobi Manchuria:- As a dish this was good, the gravy was thick. It had the flavour which was consistent throughout. It was a good combination along with the noodles. Marconi in Pesto Sauce:- I must say, this was impressive. The sauce was strong, it had a good pesto flavour. It had that after taste of Basil which is quite impressive. Coming to the tagline of serving Organic Food, this may not meet the requirements. Although I must say, possibly one the few best pastas had in recent times. Karara Paneer:- Panner deep fried with a coating of Cornflakes. They need to work on the dish, mainly the coating as it was not going well. The dip served along was a sweet Jaggery dip. I agree the dip could be organic but it was not a good combination. On the other hand the panner was nice and soft. Caramel Custard:- Deserts are my main, This was a disappointment. Here I agree the dish was organic and yes it does look appealing but not so great in taste. It tasted like Caramel Yoghurt precisely. Perhaps a honest suggestion to work on this one too. Overall I loved the concept of serving Organic Food but It all comes down to the extent till which it can be followed. Not all dishes were purely organic, nor there were out of the world. Perhaps a few dishes from the menu would actually prove the point. I will surely visit it soon to try out the breakfast menu. Food:-3/5 Ambience:-4/5 Service:-4/5

Great!

The Continental and Asian organic food festival at Jivati will definitely not disappoint you. I was there yesterday for the pre-launch and was pleasantly surprised with the variety and the distinct flavours it had to boast. Ingredients are sourced spanning many states which are used for the in-house customised preparation of sauces and condiments. We were warmly welcomed with "Hot Toddy" with Flavors of fresh spices, honey and apple juice. Cream of Mushroom soup and Clear vegetable soup were flavorful and appealing. The mushroom soup gave out a very clear taste of mushroom and I personally liked this one compared to the clear soup. Starters included crispy baby corn and margherita pizza. Vegetables being organic were definitely slightly sweeter. The sauces and cheese are all made in-house which rendered the taste. Babycorn starter was crispy and well made and did not seem oily though being deep fried. Cheese on the pizza was good and basil leaves imparted the flavor well. The tomatoes on the pizza to be sliced extremely thin can be requested especially if you're not much of a tomato fan. Maybe an inclusion of a side dip could have helped as well. My favorite of the lot was the pesto sauce pasta. The pesto sauce might seem overpowering to few but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The ginger cinnamon mocktail had the distinct flavor of fresh ginger and the burnt cinnamon complemented equally. Another favorite one was the 'Red Eye' made with vanilla ice cream, pomegranate , rose and guava. The "red" was pleasing to the eyes and delectable. Coming to the mains,Veg Hakka noodles and Gobhi Manchurian seemed very appetizing and colorful. The peppers were distinctly flavorful and gave a the dish the signature taste. Caramel custard was good though it seemed slightly curdled. They use cow milk, which of course is lighter. The concept is mainly to incorporate pure vegetarian ,organic and healthy food which could very well be observed with the minuscule variations such as the key ingredients being used rock salt, cold pressed oil and cow milk. They do not use preservatives or such citric acid, cornflour etc. The organic store at the corner of restaurant let's you even take home organic stuff ranging from vegetables ,pulses, spices, cosmetics etc. This is definitely worth a try this friendship's day. They do have have organic thalis as well to choose from which I have reserved to try on my next visit. Lokender Jain @raghu varun tanna
