Haiku is a calm, peaceful fine dining Japanese and Asian food restaurant at Banjara Hills, above Good Earth. A walk up two floors, leads one to the restaurant. No lift is available here, yet there are many regular customers and new comers as well who visit the restaurant. We ordered Thai sour and spicy red curry, Chicken Fried rice, Pad Thai and Indonesian chilli ban Mee. The charming hostess, Pavitra and another steward were there to assist us in choosing our dishes. No alcohol is served here, but one can have a go at their mocktails. Food served was good. Enjoyed the Pad Thai. Service, in terms of speed, can be improved.

This place is very different. Simple yet nice ambience. Still in the making but has attracted a lot of crowd because of the décor which is new in Hyderabad. The food is nice. All asian delicacies. Started with tom yum soup which was Thai and black Pepper prawns. Main course : Fish in chilly basil sauce- The fish had the perfect essense of basil leaves in it , crispy outside and soft within. Thai cilantro noodles - this the lightest sauteed noodle possible. Perfectly done. And amazing flavour of thai. Vietnamese fried rice - it is a nice blend of some Vietnamese spice which I don't know what exactly. Looks spicy but isn't. Cherry on the cake are the small pieces of salami type topped on the rice. Dessert- Apricot pudding is the best dessert in town I felt. Beautifully topped eith nuts apricots with an even more beautiful base of pudding. And fried ice cream is done perfectly. Cooked crispy outside , a taste of darsan and inside melted yet hard ice cream. Melts in your mouth Service could be improved and faster. I'll give 4 stars. Must visit!

Haiku was a place we ended up going to without any prior knowledge about the restaurant, the food, but only as they served Japanese food. It was one of the best places to have Japanese cuisine in the city, according to me. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, the staff courteous. We had ordered the Spicy Mizo Glazed Chicken Wings which were really flavorsome. We had also ordered for the Basa in Oyster Sauce which was also a very welcome addition. With a Watermelon and a Green Apple Iced Tea to wash down the food, we had also ordered for the Philadelphia Roll sushi and the Thai fried rice. The whole experience of food was unique and memorable. I would recommend the restaurant to Japanese food lovers and oriental food enthusiasts alike.

Place is nice. We ordered for a veg sushi and green curry chicken fried rice. First the order took forever to be served. And finally when it came. They had got the wrong order. They got some noodles. they changed it and again got something other order. And the waiter justified that its almost the same. It was already 50 mins by now and we just accepted and ate it. An average experience here.
