A nice place for bengali cuisine. Never visited yet but ordered numerous times. A Bengali can never be satisfied with Hyderabadi biryani and in times like this the biryani of Bijoli grill comes to the rescue. The typical taste of kolkata biryani, fish orli and alu posto is surely heaven on your plate.

Loved the kosha mangsho to the extreme. Very spicy and very yumm. We tried Sunday buffet. The menu was lavish. They had a good weekend spread starting with veg chop fish kobiraji dimer devil fresh limewater juice then luchi alur dom plain rice with chingri r malaikari moong daal Rui macher kalia followed by bengal polao and kosha mangsho. In dessert, malpua was awesome. Chutney and fish kalia was not upto our expectations. Rest everything was truly delicious. 2 suggestions, one, please add furfure alubhaja after serving daal. Second, please keep the papad covered while you are not serving to anyone.

Having experienced the same chain in both Kolkata and Mumbai, I was sure of getting a fulfilling experience. Decided to visit this place on a Saturday evening with family - was greeted with some very loud music from the Pub (under the restaurant). The restaurant, however had some melodious hindi tunes (non-bengali) playing in the background. For starters - we went for Fish Fingers and Fish Fry. We were delighted with the amount of Bhetki fish in it, served crisp and hot. However, considering the price - the amount of salad provided with it was very less. Moving on to main course - we ordered Aloor Dum, Kosha Mangsho, Luchi and Radhaballabi. We were given a disclaimer by the waiter that the "Aloor Dum" will not have baby potatoes, but will be served with cut-pieces. This was a sign of cost cutting - considering that baby potatoes are available in the city but at a slightly premium price. The Kosha Mangsho was succulent and delicious, but were disappointed to see only 4 small pieces being provided for a full plate. Perhaps the main disappointment here would be the Radhaballabi - wherein they don't serve lentils (dal) stuffed inside. It was basically Luchi (4pcs) upgraded to a bigger size into 2pcs at an unjustified premium price. There was a promotion for a free dessert on bill amount of above Rs.850/- (displayed on zomato) - which was never honored inspite of showing it directly to the waiter (stating they are not aware of any such offer). The waiters however were friendly and courteous at all times. An overall mixed experience considering the level of expectations set.

Ordered food couple of times. I am no expert at Bengali cuisine but I love the food from this place and their Rosogolla....goodness!!!! All the lovers of Hyderabadi Biryani like me, try a different Biryani flavour from Bijoli and you would love it.

We frequently order online from Bijoli Grill. We did not or better to say could not try ordering many items, because they appeared too much exorbitant in terms of Price. The quantity vs Price simply does not match. Same food, from different restaurant is cheaper. And i won't care about service tax etc, since i am not visiting the restaurant, home delivery is by Zomato. Chicken Kobiraji is nice. Restaurant should also try serving Fish Kobiraji. Chicken Kosha or Curry are not that good. Other Items that we ordered tasted OK. But again, it is really really not worth ordering, if even Veg Items are tagged with such High Price.
