Great!

Visiting Falaknuma Taj is a wonderful experience. It makes you feel royal and takes you on a trip which makes you feel like a king. At least for a meal. You have to decide between two restaurants Celeste ( Continental) and Adaa (Nawabi). We chose Adaa and it was an awesome experience costing around 4000/- plus tax per person. You can’t eat that much so include and experience the cocktails which are limited but good. The after lunch palace tour is also one good experience. Food and service is classy and royale.

Live Life King Size! Been here on the Hi-Tea along with a client from North America. Experienced the Royal Dining, fine Tea and Nizami Feasts. The Hi-Tea included a guided tour of the heritage palace. The Palace is a European Royalty retracing the path through of the choicest architecture. If not for the food, it’s for the palace and the Royal Experience.

We had clients from Kansas, London and Syndey and they were very much eager to dine at the historical palace. Although it was a short notice and despite being a busy Saturday, Debasmita from Taj group ensured that we got a reservation for lunch and took care of our arrival although we were very late post our reservation time. Adaa and Celeste were two restaurants to choose from. Adaa serves the traditional hyderabadi cuisine whereas Celeste serves continental. We chose Adaa to try the lip smacking deccan dishes. They have a typical package which is neither Ala carte nor Buffet. They charge 4500 plus taxes per person as a minimum spend and for a group booking they sum the total and one could order anything from the menu in that stipulated budget. If the order goes beyond the budget, they would charge accordingly. We were a group of 6 people and our package budget was 31, 200 which was more than suffice for 6 people. This price also includes the Palace tour which is approximately 30 minutes. The elegance of dining in the Palace in itself was so royal! The walkway, the corridors, decors, cutlery inculcates a sense of Nizamism. Masala Papads and Fryums along with three pickles are given as a  complimentary as soon as we are seated. We ordered Marag Soup, Shikampuri Kebab, Patthar ka gosht, Akthari Murg tikka, Nalli Ghost (comes with saffron rice) , Jalapenos and Olives Naan, Garlic Naan, Cheese Naan, Hyderabadi Kacchi Gosht Biryani, and Chicken Biryani. Every dish stood out to be outstanding. They stood true to the heritage of being the traditional nizami food. This was accompanied with the cocktail orders of Mint and Coriander Mojito, Creamy Pino colada, Pomegranate and Cranberry. They did not disappoint too. For desserts we had Double ka meetha which was a healthy serving suffice for two, An assorted Badami sweet, Sorbets (They have various fruits flavors to choose from) which were accompanied by assorted sweets. The serving of the desserts was elite. The desserts stood out to be a perfect touchup to wrap up a royal lunch. The service was highly commendable. They ensured from point to point that we were served well and liked the food. Overall, this place turns out be an experience which could be remembered for years to come.
