Great place to hangout. Best buffet place. Deserts are decent. Starters are really great. Chanchal has really helped us during eating.......

We chose Absolute barbeque at Banjara hills since it's close to our house and the primary occasion was my brother's birthday. We decided to finish dinner early and the early bird offer strengthened our decision cuz who dismisses a deal? We were there on time and were given a seat near the glass where we could have a view of traffic outside on the roads- yeah traffic!. Papi was very hospitable and he deserves a good mention. As soon as we were seated we were allowed to choose a complimentary drink and we sticked to Virgin Mojito. It was refreshing and went well with the starters served. We prefer sea food and on mentioning we were given more of sea food to barbeque and eat. The items on the list were Asian chicken, Sum Sum Fish, Chilly Oyster Prawns, Lal Jeera Tangdi, Pudina Seekh Kabab. Asian chicken was fresh and tasty. It felt moist and had a good flavour. The fish was a bit salty but the chef tried to reduce it and present it to us. I felt it was a part of marination which went wrong and clearly chose to ignore it. The Prawns were okay since Prawns are usually tasty when eaten fried or in curries. The tangdi could have been more crunchy and flavorful since it's made and served without being barbequed. The Seekh Kabab was good with the mutton being minced well and tender. The starters itself made us very heavy but you can never have enough of food especially when you're at an eat-all-barbeque with a variety of tastes awaiting further. Coming to main course, there were dishes like Chicken Dum Biryani, Nihari Gosht, Chicken Do pyaaza, Doi maach, Egg curry and Shrimps curry. I liked everything but the best was Nihari Gosht. Usually, the flavour of mutton is left behind in the process of boiling, cooking and adding spices but this was a good preparation on the main course menu. The mutton was tender, had the right amount of spices and was tasty. The main course was good and fills one's stomach to the fullest. Also, I can never come out of a place without tasting the sweets and trust me all their sweets were prepared to perfection. The items ranged from Angoori Gulab Jamun, Phirni, Cranberry delight, Fruit cocktail cheesecake, ABs celebration pastry, Malai Cham Cham, Plum pastry and Lemon Orange Cheesecake and Rabri Malpua . My top picks are Angoori Gulab Jamun, Cranberry delight and Rabri Malpua. The cranberry delight came to an end by 8 pm itself and please do yourself a favor by eating the Malpua, it's fantastic in every way possible. We were about to conclude after celebrating and singing for my brother when Papi noticed my mother not having sweets and offered a customised ice cream of all flavours on a plate for her. She really felt happy about it. The complimentary cake was Kiwi flavored and it came fresh out of the oven. They also gave my brother a return gift, which on opening at home turned out to be a pot to grow plants with organic mud and a set of seeds too. Overall it's the effort that counts to make someone feel relaxed and come out happy and ABs turned out to be a good choice at the end. Thank you ABs. Happy eating :)

As usual two things stand out here in this restaurant: Starters and courteous staff. Their starters are so great that you will end up filling your tummy with just starters. And it’s a good thing also, because i felt their main course, though good, isn’t as good as their starters were. And they have very good dessert options also. And coming to their staff, their service and behaviour is as good as the food they serve. They are on constant vigil on customer. Always enquiring about the food served, did customer liked it or not, and if someone didnt like anything the staff will readily do necessary changes in food served or bring something fresh altogether. You can’t get any better service anywhere than this. This is the first place where the tip i provided after bill got returned to me! This is not my first time with AB, but still i enjoy being there everytime.

Great Ambience, Amazing food and lively staff! Absolutely worth it!! Must visit. The prawns here are really good and the live counter is a great idea
