3.5by Jay Kansara
Nearly 15 days spent at this place. Amused with hospitality. The 3.5 rating mainly is on account of breakfast and desserts served. The breakfast served is really good especially Masala Cheese Omlette, Sada Dosa, Onion Uttapam, Aloo Paratha & Chhole. Even Idlis and Medu Vada are preferable. Onion Bhajji & Potato Vada, Moong Dal Vada, Dal Vada & Samosa are 'crisp' option. The Pineapple Sherbet, Cold Coffee & Lemonade tastes damn good. Prefer having cheee masala omlette with bread toast along with plate of pineapples / watermelon. Even cheese chilly toast are good option. Lunch & dinner has limited varieties and most of them of Paneer. No good salads. Weird soups that you cant even think of trying. Panner Chilly, Spring Roll, Cheese Balls, Veg Taipen are some good starters. In many cases, food was like overcooked specially, Manchurain balls / Veg. Dumplings. Sometimes Noodles had a different smell altogether. Can't get a point of adding corns to fried rice! Theres no worst taste of Veg. Kohlapuri & Chana Masala anywhere than this. Even a normal thing like Cheese Grilled Sandwich wasn't good. Items in sandwich were overcooked and it was majorily filled with Mayonaise. Items cooked with Paneer are good. But Rajma Masala, Hara Moong Dal & Dal Tadka were awesome to have with rice. You can munch on to Pizzas but not to the Pasta. Basically due to strong cooling, food served isn't hot except for starters and rotis / naans. Kulcha is not advisable. Prefer butter rotis is any case (as this is the only place where rotis in tandoori style were actually made of Wheat). Some cakes and pastries are definately worth. Even Pineapple, Pista, Nut Butterscotch & Mango ice-creams are good option. Gulab Jamuns and Jalebis are also advisable. Belgian Chocolate Cake is all time favourite. Even Coconut Barfi, Malai Barfi & Anjeer Barfi are damn good. Suggestions were made to a Chef. Hope it gets incorporated. It would be quiet good if Phulka rotis forms part of Buffet. The staff is really awesome! Overall, eat like king in breakfast and throw yourself to deserts in lunch and dinner.
