This place is an old favourite for having a fulfilling lunch and satisfying my chicken cravings. The interiors and ambiance is plain and sober. However the food is absolutely delicious. Though I have loved whatever I have had here uptil now (except Lemon Chicken), however Veg and Chicken Shabalay is always there on my order whenever I go here. Haven't tasted better Shabalay anywhere else. Also, the place is never crowded and serves for a quiet lunch with a peaceful ambiance.

There aren’t a lot of tables but I really love going back to this place. We would visit this when the beef momo were really cheap. Now, keeping up with the times, its not so cheap anymore. The the taste is still rich. My favourite is the dry beef shapta. My favourite restaurant in the whole of Majnu ka Tilla.

A quaint little place hidden in the alleys of MKT, Wongdhen Restaurant feels like a place straight out of Dharamsala (minus the view)! Don't expect anything fancy in terms of the ambience and interiors however, it's this quietitude which is mesmerizing. If you like Tibetian cusine, forget the likes of Yeti, this place offers succulent momos, shapta, gyuma and thukpa at half the price! Also, the waitpeople and servers are ever smiling and extremely paitent. MKT is ❤️ and this place is my absolute favorite!

I wanted to visit a place that serves Tibetan cuisine as my wife likes it. After a few suggestions, I thought of taking her to Wongdhen house. This restaurant is situated at this little Tibetan paradise called majnu ka tila. The ambiance was average with soothing music. We ordered fried pork with vegetables, chicken fry sizzler, plain rice , tingmo and lemon soda. Fried pork with veggies was totally on point. It was very well cooked and was filled with flavour. The chicken fry sizzler was good. The vegetables in that were not over cooked. It still had the crunch while eating. The meat was juicy. Tingmo bread was also very soft and easy to chew. Lasltly, the lemon soda could have been better. It was too salty. Other than that all the dishes we ordered were good. I would recommend fried pork with veggies.

Good Enough

Good momos, but all eating could be more spicy, it is a bit lame in taste. Service is good and friendly. Prices are reasonably. There are quite better restaurants nearby.
