Talib Kabab Corner Reviews and Ratings - Zakir Nagar, New Delhi

Rated 3.0 by Hungryinthetown

A pocket friendly place in the crowded lanes of zakir nagar. This place had a very small menu, serving tikkas and kabab. Had heard about this joint over a lot of blogs over social media and found this place to be overrated. Their is nothing special about the kabab, they are small in size and not juicy enough. I would rather pay more at another place serving decent kababs. Overall a pocket friendly place wrt the quantity but not worth the visit

Zakir Nagar is a Kebab heaven and Talib is one of the many small shops doing amazing kebabs. This one does only buff though. The kebabs were amazing, soft and juicy while tikka was still not done and was hard to chew, so stick to the kebabs. But do try!

So LBB had a rave review about this place which prompted me to read more about this place on zomato. The reviews everywhere of this place were amazing so decided to try it out with a colleague. This place is right on the main gully of zakir nagar though you would have to cross a lot of other shops which might tempt you to stop before you reach this place. From afar you can see the crowd thronging this tiny shop which does not even offer you enough place to sit. They serve kebab and tikka. And mind you they specialise in those two. Their kebabs are priced at just 40 for 5 seekh kebabs and 30 for a plate of tikka. The tikka was good and their kebab outstanding. So soft and succulent, that you just cant stop even after hogging 10 seekhs.

so yes the kababs here are really great.. Both Tikka and Seekh... Only minus point would be the waiting time... It took 15-20 minutes for us to get 1 plate of kabab on a weekend eve... So if you can wait for that long its a worth a try... Parking is an issue in this place, so if you are on a four wheeler,, Best is too park at the road next to the park fire zakir nagar starts (Before Dhallaan") you can even park at New friends colony community centre and take a cycle rickshaw incase if the parking is full there

Without any doubt one can have one of the best kebabs here along with tikkas. Just 80 rupees would buy you a full plate of kebabs (10) . Though there is no sitting available so you can think of it as a takeaway and also eat there, standing on the road. Highly recommended, rest the whole street is having of food items and are famous in itself.
