Cafe Auto Bahn Reviews and Ratings - Kalkaji, New Delhi

Loved it!

Rated 4.5 by Shubham Sarkar

Possibly the best in respect to " Bhindi bazaar ka keema pao' , Chicken Malai tikka ',mutton nihari ". I have been a fan of this small food shelter. Where I can truly trust and relish actual tastes. Bon apetit!

The food quality has improved quite a lot compared to the last time I ordered. They have taken care of all the shortcomings pointed out last time. I would order certain items again

my actual rating is 3.8. so i ordered my dinner from Cafe Auto Bahn the other day, what attracted me towards the same was its name and the menu with heavy dominance on non veg items, and some exquisite delights.... unfortunately they had not updated their menu and few of the things, i really wanted to taste had been discontinued... still i had several options and these were the ones i finally ordered: 1. Roganjosh Roast Chicken (Rs. 199, half) - the name was intriguing and i wanted to know if it really stands out from the regular Tandoori Chicken.....well yes it was moist and juicy, and yes there indeed was a slight curry/ flavor enhancement....though i would have loved more roganjosh flavor and maybe slight glaze of the curry. Still it was good. 2. Peshawari Chaapli Kebab (Rs. 249)- Now i expected these to be melt in mouth, they were not, but they were pretty yumm in terms of flavors and texture, minced mutton with onion, spices, ginger etc, combined and formed into a patty, these 4 huge kebabs were delicious and spicy!! loved them. 3. Chicken Chettinad (Rs. 219)- had ordered this dish with a lot of expectation, however this dish was my least liked one....the texture, color, flavor nothing was even close to chettinad...they def. need to improve this one.....the gravy was very thin, the coconut was not cooked properly and the color was too dull, there was no spice.... (thumbs down for this) 4. Gosht Nihari (Rs. 299)- this was indeed a delight, the mutton was cooked perfectly and fell off the bone and melted in the mouth, the curry was subtle and the flavors were well balanced. overall all this costed me approx 950 bucks or so....and for the quantity and dishes, its well worth it... would love to try more items, few do need a bit improvement, but nonetheless they were decent.
