Taste : 3.5/5 ; Ambiance : 3/5 ; Service : 3/5 ; VFM : 3.5/5 Ungal Dindugal biryani is one of the preferred outlets for me in the food court of EA...And recently i leared from my cousin who lives nearby that they have opened a restaurant in the triplicane high road diagonally opposite to the big mosque complex...so i wanted to check it out ASAP....As said its located in the main road itself and is easily visible due to the bright boards...The parking however on this road is a big problem...they dont have exclusive parking.. The Restaurant is a small one to seat around 20 odd ppl...not so comfortable furniture and also the A/C was at the bare minimum almost negligible..the cleaning and maintenance could definitely be improved a bit..they have a small open kitchen which has a biryani vessels... The Service was quick and prompt but the behavior and attitude was not that great...the person who took the order was actually chewing on something and taking to me which really felt bad... Ordered a chicken biryani in seeraga samba rice....was served along with raita, salna and dalcha...decent quantity and good chicken pieces...the rice however tasted very mediocre and not that great but after mixing up the salna it was really good and yummy in taste...The raita was usual stuff and the dalcha was not a good accompaniment..did not go well with the biryani actually... Priced at 120rs the taste was decent and quantity too was ok for the price...the normal biryani i have had at the EA outlet seemed much better to me and the difference in pricing is 20rs....so i definitely would prefer the normal biryani the next time around...
